You know, I', happy he ended up uploading a game that wasn't a 1st, I'd like to see games he loses too so long as they are lost in a fun way

I remember back in set 3.5 a game Mort uploaded where he was like level 6, 24 gold @2-7 . I gotta say, level 7, 34 gold @2-7 is hard to beat.

I just played a game with cruel pact and didn't hit anything but 1 costs on my first level 6 re roll and lost immediately.

That’s why you don’t spend all your hp early it’s never worth it to do slightly more Dmg to the enemy and it’s a prismatic lobby which can be really strong and aggressive. Having a few extra units is not stronger than an upgraded board with good items. You have to make sure you have good items slammed and at least one or more 2 stars to level up to 7 and I would wait till end of stage 2 anyways for that

@@dklyokosanctum well that's only if it's a 3 cost or 4 cost, and that's nothing new except for if only 2 people were playing 3 cost carries TECHNICALLY they could both 3 star them before but it was harder to hit than an uncontested 4 cost so why bother

Isn't rolling to 0 until you have 3 star headliner the best play on Cruel Pact? If one person contests you, you're bottom 4 and you can't use gold to level anyway. Especially if you have 8 copies.

A perfect example of why cruel pact is the most toxic augment in the game. The idea that you’re going to have a 3 unit advantage for most of the game with first priority on items so you can just tax the lobby is just unfun. Made even worse when you get access to 3 cost headliners almost immediately and people are taking 5 unit losses. Like there were people in that lobby taking 4-5 unit losses 3 out of 5 fights because they just can’t compete when vastly outleveled. Not to mention the fact those players have infinite gold to roll for 3 star 3 costs. Half the players in that game never even got all of their items because they lost before they got that chance. A players enjoyment should never come at the expense of another player. You don’t have to be in first to enjoy TFT. You aren’t enjoying TFT though if you’re getting dumpstered repeatedly by players you have 0 chance of coming close to beating and going bot 4 before you get your components.

Tunnel-visioning on those useless Zacs was such a bad idea.

cruel pact is so bad this set lol. the overall xp changes and lowered 4 cost odds on lvl 7 literally killed it. By the time you lvl to 8 there are already people playing lvl 9 boards for a while. every time i see someone take cruel pact it's an immediate eif
