The sad thing is that where I live is just an hour away from complete totality yet for some reason some people still didn't go see it. Like seriously, can't you give up like 4 hours of your life to see a (almost) once in a lifetime event? Come on. I completly understand why most people won't drive half way over the country to see it, but even when it was just one little hour away some people still couldn't be bothered to see it.

Im a cristian too but this is merely not gods work. The moon is a chunk of the earth that broke off a long time ago but way after earths creation and yes the sun is the only star in our solar system but there are trillions of other universes with Trillions of stars. As proven by NASA the moon moves at about 3 cm away from earth a year so 200 million years ago this wasnt a thing and in about 200 million this isnt gonna be a thing. Eventually the moon will be gone and trillions of years from now if life still exist on earth it will all be wiped out because the sun will burn out

the light got dim here in East Texas and the temp dropped a bit for a few minutes
To view a crowd, try getting up on a ladder for a 360 degree viewpoint. It also helps if the news man gets out of the picture.

Nice video but guys, you don't need glasses during totality! You missed out on the best part of the eclipse! Hopefully you can experience the full effect in 2024.

NoMorePC I took mine off as soon as I couldn't see any part of the sun anymore.
I'm in San Jose an it was only a partial eclipse 😞. It didn't get dark out or anything just the shadows turned into crescents

' how that area so dark outside while moon sun eclipse... maybe a person did put a len with dark tint on the videocamera look dark... or use a videocamera with brightness and contrastness control
3:04 "it is incredibly dark" but yet I see a box of cheerios 😂
Amazing !
"Look how DARK it is!" Whoooooo.
Wow they got the real deal!!! Here in San Diego was barely noticable
That traffic was aweful
So my best friend (over the internet) lives there in Oregen and she kept telling me over 100,000 would be in her city that day.
My man at 2:42 really loves some cheerios
Lol, I don't understand all the hate with the eclipse. A total eclipse is not something you get to personally see everyday, and in your own backyard.
I was in Oregon and watch the eclipse Later when the eclipse was over, it took me 2 hours to get to my home and regular it will take 10 minutes It was hell of a traffic 😒😒😒😒
I thought you weren't supposed to stand there staring at it.

ferociousgumby they have special glasses on
I was at Disney World when it happened!
I only got a partial view from where I was. If I had traveled a state down I would have seen it fully. Unfortunately there is no time for that when you have jury duty. 🤣
People are stupid for Putting so much effort in this. I saw it but I live in a zone where it was
Did anyone else miss the eclipse besides me
I felt the earth shake yesterday
Amazing
I thought the title said "cowards gather to witness solar eclipse in Oregon"
He was at Solar town not Solar Fest. NASA was at Solar Fest which was 5 miles down the road.
maybe i can finally get a solar jumpstart on my 83 yugo !
Where I live we won't see a total solar eclipse for another 100 years 😐 ima be dead
I'm so excited 4/8/24
I was there!
Great. Now I'm blind.
This is so cool
What's going on guy's!!! ..did I miss something here??
Damn you Monty Burns.
Awesome
This was a eclipse! well worth keeping.
"Thousands of degrees Fahrenheit" Whatever it's Celsius or Fahrenheit it's still thousands of degrees!
hi julia g ! did anyone see that couple get hitched. hope they waited for the total eclipse. what a cool pic that would be of them with the eclipse in background.
why the guy holding that box 5:09
There's a massive difference between 99% and 100% totality.
So cool :)
I saw it in Missouri
woo hoo I got to see the eclipse, #2017eclipse
It was kind of cool, how dark it became at totality.
It was still bright in raleigh

When the eclipse is in totality, it's safe to view without the glasses. The light from the corona won't hurt your eyes. (Jan Griffiths).
This is truly GODS WORK! Cannot be done by human power. This is power and strength of God. Absolutely amazing! Amazing video regardless of people's ignorant comments!

Eventually the moon will be gone and trillions of years from now if life still exist on earth it will all be wiped out because the sun will burn out
You guys were lucky because I didn't see anything last week
Looked right into the sun.
brilliant
