This song brings me in tears

I've listened to this song a million times, and I can never EVER get sick of the bridge harmonies, and Nick's falsetto on the 'I fall' part is absolutely breath taking!

Nothing could ever amount to the talent Neil Finn has. I could watch this over and over and never be bored.

All these years later and i still get the chills when I hear this song......❤

Incredible song, one of my favourites. Really under-rated band.

I am of John Lennon's generation. Neil is a beautifully powerful songwriter with lots of Beatles influence in his music. I am very moved by his songs. John would approve very much! Go Neil.

Mark Hart's harmony in the bridge.... my gosh, I can't get over it. so good.

I've got a smile as wide as the equator! That sing-a-long with the crowd at the end was just amazing... I had goosebumps! Neil Finn and Crowded House are incredible! One of the best bands of all time!

You may like the live acoustic version with crowd joining in that I found a while ago. Not the done thing to add links, but if you search ' live at st. james fall at your feet - crowded house ' it should be near the top of the search.

Thank you, belatedly. Yes, he leads the crowd with a gentle hand. A Beautiful version, Neil Finn always makes each performance of his songs a unique rendering and this is no exception. Hearing each one it always sounds perfect, just right and the only way it could be. Very creative individual. I also noticed on this his reaction turning around at about 0:45 seconds when the drummer does a cymbal crash. On the original studio recording the drums are a symphony of simplicity, sparse, where the slightest snare tap moves the song thoughtfully along (the snare at the end of the second verse in the original at the space in "I'll be waiting when you call...When ever I fall..." are a mastery of understatement and so worth the wait)....the drums on this are very good but different, almost and ever so slightly busy....just a thought I had. Again, it's beautiful on it's own, as they all are. Thanks again...

It's a rare occasion these days when a song makes a 15 year old cry. this one is enough to bring tears to my eyes... the sing along is just superb.

Wow! I forgot how moving this song was. Love songs are tough because love is the #1 topic that is written about. But, every so often a song rises above the fray. Nice job.

Best. Band. Ever. Saw them first time 20 yrs ago in a small club in Boston and 3x since. Never cease to amaze.

saw this live online too and love how they just kept going when the lights went out -- really moving performance -- so great live and their recent album is great

I still can't get over that their big farewell was the opera house show and their re-entry with the worldwide stage/audience of Live Earth was even bigger than that. Karmic bookends in a way.

I just saw them in Vienna. Had me from the first second. Great band, especially live!

I am from Germany and I wasn´t to able watch Live Earth on TV on 2007. So I decided to look now what happened. And I have to admit the best audience and the best concert was seen in Australia. I like watching CH and now I know Eskimo Joe and Missy Higgins who are (both) totally unknown in Germany. It´s great to hear the people sing togehter with Finn and it was a great final when Missy, Wofmother, Jack Johnson, Butler e.g. entered the stage. Go on Oz.

Does Neil Finn realise how this song nails me to the wall every time I hear it? So brilliant. One of the best songwriters of our time......of any time.

Neil Finn is an amazing song writer. His lyrics are so intricate, he truly is a poet. His words transcend time.

They are most certainly still together and doing a couple of shows down under in Sydney in November...maybe they'll tour again in 2017. Saw them in 2007 in Canada...they were great.

V. GOOD audio and video, just an amazing song with a brilliant performance. P.S. This song is pretty easy to play on acoustic guitar and sounds great.

He always did play it with the capo at the third fret.. if you check other videos you'll see

how fucking cool is this band?? i prefer this version to the album purely coz it's alot more moving and gets the point across pure and straight, and the bit at the end gives me SHIVERS its that powerful, hall of fame open the doors for Niel!!!

When they played at the Opera house there were road blocks for 8 hours. Everyone in the whole country knew it was a moment to be seen. So I say to you man, next time get the blue bus.

This is just an amazing song, the melody is fantastic......

he thinks it's funny that he sang it at Nicole and Keiths wedding considering it's a song written about having an argument with his own wife ;) but nonetheless, to me it will always be the most mind blowing Crowded House song to date.
