@@crazyspace6792 yeah ive tried that. the only games i am hyped for is kerbal space program 2 but they are being made by the guys that made that borked game planetary annihilation that has so much issues for so long. so i am not really looking foward to seeing them make ksp 2 and cyberpunk 2077 no need to say anything here cdpr have my trust they have not fucked up as of yet. so no need to lower my trust until they break it. IF they break it.

@@justicewarrior9187 You actually need to have brain and have an IQ above room temperature to play KSP.

The lack of initial reaction, and the mellow reactions later (they barely recognized the game) only shows how small KSP community really is. And it's mostly because of lack of serious development of KSP for years which is not entirely justified by lack of sufficient funding. This is truly the best spaceflight simulator in existence and deserves nothing short of the best recognition.

The sort of people who play KSP probably aren't the sort of people to go to massive conventions. Too busy fine-tuning the delta-V for a return trip to Tylo... only to forget the parachutes.

Last time I looked there were only about 4000 recurring KSP players on Steam but a lot of people also bought it through the site so I'd say about 20000 recurring monthly players maximum. It has sold 2 million copies but the active community who gets excited about this stuff, post about their crafts on reddit and are actually interested in spaceflight is minimal. Let KSP become popular, but not mainstream. We have something very special here. A lot of people know about the explosions, the boosters, jeb (thrillmaster extraordinaire) and the memes, but not very many people actually care about learning this stuff. Jason Merrone said it best, people only want to fly around.

I watched it ~7 times and original about there times. I literally learned entire programming language to make KSP multiplayer. Didn't manage to do so, but got great paid job. Ah, I also tried one time to make my own KSP animation, but limited time let me only to render this image in background of my channel. Ah, just give me KSP with multiplayer...

Gamescom. Not E3. In E3 you see all the hooting fanboys and paid shills at the front. You don't see the camera desperately trying to avoid the bored looking press at the back.

I've never played the original KSP (don't judge me) and this 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 gave me goosebumps.

it is a hard game to get into, but the payoff is incredible. Landing on the moon and getting back actually give you "a sense of pride and achievement."

@@rasaecnai yep its a hard game to understand... it took me like 5 or 6 years to understand the game... the first 5 years were frustrating trying to figure out how stuff worked and ultimately getting mad and taking a brake from it that lasted a couple of months untill my curiosity cane back and tried again to build rockets and fail again... untill the past year when ive started to look into tutorials and physics videos from our boy scott... but i still dont play it that much... it just has an outdated look... but i still love the game and continue the habbit of playing it a lot for a couple of days then taking a longer brake from it... but this new game has the potential to do fix some of the issues we had like the kraken while improving the looks... cant wait for it... will definitely try to play it a lot more then the original

I thought the reaction would be bigger considering how popular the first one was, how long its been and how epic this trailer is.

Great reaction. No Hyping and cheering for no reason. Skepticism when "no gameplay footage" shown. Just a crowd listening and watching with good skepticism and applauding after the presentation has ended. Bravo! They seemed like genuine human beings with brains. Maybe we won't sell our souls to 2K, Activision or Blizzard in 10 years afterall.

I was bawling at the end of the trailer, this hit me so much in the feels.

The thing about the video game showcase streams, is that there is always at least a small group of people who got super hyped about that game that seemed boring to you. It is about an hour of games that you could not care less about, then suddenly you get that one game trailer that gets you more hyped then you have ever been.

I almost cried when I saw the trailer. Sure, not actual gameplay, but it was beautiful and funny

I actually cried. This is so great. The mixture of the music and the fact that it was a new ksp. It just made me cry with joy.

I didn't know that I was holding my breath for every wonderful moment in the trailer and after the outro, I had teary eyes. Such a wonderful game to play. Now and then.
