Crossing the Nullarbor | Aussie Campervan Trip

Driving the Nullarbor: An Iconic Australian road trip.
Join us as we embark on a journey from Ceduna in South Australia to Kalgoorlie in Western Australia over 5 days in a Maui campervan. This is part 3 of 4 of our Melbourne to Perth adventure.
The Nullarbor is atop the world's largest single exposure of limestone bedrock and occupies an area of about 200,000 square kilometres. It’s an area few inhabit! With the Great Australian Bight to the south and the Great Victorian Desert to the north, this is a unique part of the country.
Highlights:
- Ceduna: We begin our journey in this charming South Australian town.
- Penong and Lake Macdonnell: Visiting the famous pink lake.
- Head of Bight Lookout with stunning coastal views.
- Nullarbor Roadhouse: Experience the remote outback.
- The Nullarbor Links: Play the world's longest golf course.
- 90 Mile Straight: Drive Australia's longest straight road.
- Fraser Range: Discover the beautiful landscapes.
- Kalgoorlie: A famous Australian mining town.
If you’re interested in seeing these unique landscapes or want to get an idea of what there is to see and do on this 1300+km journey, then this video is for you.
Filmed using a GoPro, Mavic Mini drone, Mavic Air 2, and an iPhone.

About Us 👫:
We're an Aussie couple who gave up great jobs in Los Angeles to live a location-independent life and travel the world.
Ricky has worked in the tourism industry for many years and has visited over 80 countries, living in 4 of them! Nat is a master's qualified teacher who runs an online tutoring business. Together, we've been living a nomadic lifestyle since mid-2019.
We both share a passion for travel and love discovering new places. Typically, we spend at least one month in each location we visit, seeking authentic experiences and immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the region.
Life Dunn Differently is our outlet to share our passion for travel and the lifestyle we've chosen to embrace, and we hope you enjoy seeing a little of our journey.

A well narrated and informative depiction of the Nullabor crossing. It's so refreshing to see someone to make great videos without always being in the centre of attention as most are. Having narration behind the images is very professional and I look forward to seeing more in the future. Don't stop, you would make a terrific TV presenter one day!

As you said Nullarbor being Latin for No Trees. The reason there are so many trees for 99% of the journey is that on the Eyre Highway, you are actually on the Nullarbor for about 20 km around Nullarbor Roadhouse. The majority of the Nullarbor Plain is inland and only touches the coast for a short distance. If you were to travel by train on the Indian Pacific, you would see a lot more of the Nullarbor, west of Ooldea. Going North from the railway line you are back in wooded areas within about 100km.
