Crossing the Nullarbor | Aussie Campervan Trip

Driving the Nullarbor - A journey from Ceduna in South Australia to Kalgoorlie in Western Australia over 5 days in a Maui campervan and part 3 of 4 of our Melbourne to Perth adventure.
The Nullarbor is atop of the world's largest single exposure of limestone bedrock and occupies an area of about 200,000 square kilometres. It’s an area few inhabit! With the Great Australian Bight to the south and the Great Victorian Desert to the north, this is a unique part of the country.
If you’re interested in seeing these unique landscapes or want to get an idea of what there is to see and do on this 1300+km journey, then this video is for you. Stunning lookouts, remote roadhouses, the world’s longest golf curse and Australia’s longest straight road are just some of the highlights!
If you enjoy this, be sure to check out the other 3 legs of our journey - Victoria’s Murray River, South Australia and Western Australia
* Footage is shot using a GoPro and a Mavic Mini drone (and a little on my new Mavic Air 2) as well as an iPhone.

A well narrated and informative depiction of the Nullabor crossing. It's so refreshing to see someone to make great videos without always being in the centre of attention as most are. Having narration behind the images is very professional and I look forward to seeing more in the future. Don't stop, you would make a terrific TV presenter one day!

As you said Nullarbor being Latin for No Trees. The reason there are so many trees for 99% of the journey is that on the Eyre Highway, you are actually on the Nullarbor for about 20 km around Nullarbor Roadhouse. The majority of the Nullarbor Plain is inland and only touches the coast for a short distance. If you were to travel by train on the Indian Pacific, you would see a lot more of the Nullarbor, west of Ooldea. Going North from the railway line you are back in wooded areas within about 100km.
