Crochet: Granny Square MAL, video 2: row 2: building corners

July 2023 started our Summer MAL, our only crochet one for the year, which focuses on granny squares. To start us off, I'm filming a series of videos on a basic granny square. This is the second video, on the second round, our first opportunity for building corners.
I'm making squares for the Ariana Cardigan by Amy Christoffers, that uses both crochet and some knitting for the edges:

Question - have you done any videos on beginning a musselberg hat? I got the pattern and am confused on how it begins and what it's saying for the increases. Thanks. Love your channel. I'm finishing up my ranunculus sweater with your help. 🥰

The pattern I am using says to begin each round with a “standing dc” instead of a ch 3. Can you demonstrate a standing dc? Many thanks! You are a great teacher. 💜🙏🏼😻
