In fact, in Brazil we pronounce the players' names exactly the way they should be pronounced because the narrators always say the names correctly, so we don't use the Portuguese rule to pronounce these names

I think Ana wanted to say the way that brazilians would say the names like the letters and sound that we have in Portuguese, but in fact we don’t say like that because as we love football we know the correct way to pronounce. @@Eu_dvd4os falantes nativos de japonês e coreano não conseguem emitir de forma correta certos sons ao pronunciar nomes estrangeiros mesmo que sejam (para falantes de línguas ricas em fonemas) muito simples ao menos que eles saibam uma segunda língua com essa natureza eles não conseguirão pronunciar, a pouco vi uma entrevista com o Arthur Antunes Coimbra falando sobre sua carreira no Kashima Antlers e os japoneses não conseguiam pronunciar seu apelido de forma correta.

Ela claramente colocou o conhecimento que ela tem do alemão quando falou o nome do Thomas Muller (não consigo colocar a trema porque tô no pc). Ninguém pronuncia Muller, todos pronunciam Miller, mesmo sendo errado. E é por uma justificativa histórica, visto que os brasileiros, quando liam o "u" com trema, achavam que eram dois "i". Pegaram a pessoa errada, a Ana é poliglota, esse conhecimento dos outros idiomas distancia a pronúncia dela da pronúncia do resto dos brasileiros.

Quanto a Pulisić, Ibrahimović ela realmente escorregou. Não deve conhecer os jogadores em questão. Mas eu diria que duas versões comuns e aceitas no Brasil pra cada um. A primeira é a pronúncia com som de c e a segunda com som de tchi no final.

For Kylian Mbappé the correct prononciation is the sound m followed by bappé, not the letter m followed by bappé because the name from his father heritage (from Cameron origin I believe). So Brazil was the closest one to the prononciation, but even some French commentator sometime say m like le the letter as it could be said if it was a name from French ehtnicity.

That's it. His surname is easy to mispronounce, so if pronouncing it mmmmbappé is too hard, I would suggest not pronouncing the m, as the sound is rather low and subtle.

@@tonybaihao4178 yes m and b are a rare and weird combinaison in French, but after trying a bit it's easy to say the right prononciation, I think it's just that people don't really know it and I don't think Kylian said anything about people saying aimbappé instead of mbappé.

zlatan is from sweden with parents from the balkans bosnian and croat parents lol anyways people need to realize that how you say things a lot of the time has to do with exposure to the names and how they are said in the original language sometimes the sounds are so diffrent that its not worth it or the players arent that well known so you just pronounce it as you want in your language

She actually pronounced Mbappé the right way. Not many know this but the combination of consonants is frequent in african countries. Even french reporters fail to say it properly, they usually pronounce the M first and the Bappé afterwards. Another example would be Mbaye Diagne (Senegalese footballer)

Ela claramente colocou o conhecimento que ela tem do alemão quando falou o nome do Thomas Muller (não consigo colocar a trema porque tô no pc). Ninguém pronuncia Muller, todos pronunciam Miller, mesmo sendo errado. E é por uma justificativa histórica, visto que os brasileiros, quando liam o "u" com trema, achavam que eram dois "i". O mesmo vale para o Mbappé, ela usou conhecimentos do francês. Ou seja, o brasileiro não fala assim. Quer o português arcaico? Basta fazer o Google Tradutor falar. A proposta do vídeo é outra. Pegaram a pessoa errada, a Ana é poliglota, esse conhecimento dos outros idiomas distancia a pronúncia dela da pronúncia do resto dos brasileiros.

People in the comments please understand Ana is saying how we would pronounce it without hearing the name first...The porpouse of this video is not to show how well we know footboll players, but the way a pt-br speaker would read it, ofc people who follow the sport will try to pronounce the right way.

@@andrepersan frankly, there was no difference at all. the korean pronounciation might as well be a german regional pronounciation and the german pronounciation was not harsher than the others. sure the korean girl is sweet but i think it's the american propaganda striking again like in aallll of these videos

actually the w sound like v in portuguese she say that wrong, the thing is we dont have no more many words with w since the new language reform, so her biggest reference is the english words, in brazil we try to say them as the americans say it. a example is Wolksvagen we dont say uolksvagen, we say volksvagen

Correto. Sómente existem duplas ou trios. A unica letra sozinha é o N. Mas nao sou especialista, foi o que aprendi no meu nivel basico.

Os Japoneses tendem a ter essa dificuldade de pronunciar nomes ocidentais devido a seu alfabeto,que é composto na maior parte dele por sílabas
