They're even trying to compare Haaland to this man 😂😂 Haaland is a great player but he is galaxies away from Ronaldo when he was at his peak. He had a couple of tricks and pace. Those were equalled or surpassed by many players. His heading stats are better because he is taller and he hits the ball a bit harder.. For sheer creativity and skill, he isn't in Messis league. Even in goal scoring Messi is superior, as Ronaldo has played 145 more games than him yet is only 24 goals or so in front? We are not even talking about the quality of opposition Ronaldo scored goals against or the amount of penalties Ronaldo took, that were awarded to others. Messi actually gives goal collecting opportunities away to others? If you include those, the difference is even more clear? Facts, evidence, statistics and simple observation shows that clearly.. Go get the best Ronaldo bits you can find, then get the best Messi bits you can find.. It is not even debatable. 🤷‍♂️

Prime Ronaldo is the greatest Footballer that graced the game. No one can ever change my mind about that.

Ronaldo is by far the best player I have seen. His skills with the ball is amazing, the way he moves, shoots and scores. He will be the goat no matter what.

I am 25 years of age , from Portugal, I was born in 97 which means I got to see Cristiano ( and football in general) in his and it’s prime years. I love Messi , but for me Cristiano has 6 years better than him. Speed , dribbling, headers, stepovers, weak foot shots, free kicks. He’s the perfect product from 2011- 2017, no tattoos, perfect physique, top tier mentality… perfect exemple for youngwr generations… it’s a shame How it’s ending I can only honestly say I shed a tear while warchinf this video. messi 2012 is the best season ever by any player, messi has a better goal ratio than ronaldo (goals per game), more assists in less games, more MOTM awards, more trophies, more outside the box goals, more passes completed, way more dribbles completed, more more and more literally way better than ronaldo at anything. Honestly, brings tears to my eyes whenever I watch Ronaldo. Haven’t watched football in a long time, but Ronaldo is just.. amazing. I just wish he didn’t have that knee problem and see him play at his absolute best even to this day. But he still does his best and people still doubt him. I don’t think we’ll ever get to see the dominance that Ronaldo and Messi, both absolute legends, had on this game.

Ronaldo's prime is slightly underrated due to the fact that he didn't win the Champions League or a trophy with Portugal. Had he won the CL in 11/12 or 2012 Euros for example people would remember that version of him more than the player he was during the 3-peat.

Won the UCL for Real Madrid, qualified Portugal to the World Cup with one of his greatest performances ever (against Sweden), and it was the last season where we still saw his peak explosiveness (until he started losing it due to the knee injury).

That's the reason for why Ronaldo gets more hate. Then about individual awards, they are all a bit weird. I think Modric did deserve it that year because football is more than just goals. Modric was class in the world cup and was a crucial part in Madrids trophies. The world cup is a big factor in Ballon d'or and always has been. But it wouldn't have been wrong to give it to Ronaldo that year either. I think it was great that a CM won it for once. 5:14, all those 1v1 play, sheesh ! He's the perfect winger, they all need to study him. At his peak it was like everytime he went past a defender, he look up to see what's going on, almost everytime. He was not going to make a decision without checking what's going on and where are his teamates. It sounds simple, but that little check is what's makes the difference. We all talk about his scoring abilities, but man what a football iQ, his passing and off ball movements are top class. I think he's around 5th in all time passing. So underrated in that aspect. Congratulations @Legasus for the excellent video of Cristiano Ronaldo. What an exceptional edition after shots that Ronaldo really dribbles not those shots that he pedals and is nothing but anyone. when i saw this video it brought back great memories of Ronaldo but young, what an amazing player. unfortunately he is in bad shape for his second spell at Manchester United. I really hope he stays at his best technical, physical and MENTAL level for who knows how to be the protagonist of an unprecedented title of the world cup in Qatar. Suuuuuuuuuuuu

I definitely wouldn't exclude 2021-22. Given how terrible the team was and how many decisive goals he still managed to score, it's probably one of his most impressive seasons.

According to some Madrid fans, Ronaldo was holding Benzema back. Nah, man check on this scene at 5:48, in facts is Benzema wasted so many big chances that Ronaldo created. 🙄

Madrid were in shambles when Ronaldo arrived at the Bernebau. It was a disorganised team even with the second generation of Glacticos. Benzema, Kaka, Van der Vaart, Ramos, Marcelo, Pepe didn't upped their game immediately. They took 1-2 years to blossom meanwhile Cristiano became their beacon of victory, he was giving trouble to that famous Guardiola's Barca alone. He had an unmatched flair, speed, stepovers, shooting prowess from inside or outside the box. All of these characteristics are now sadly fading away as he is nearing 38. All I want him to retire on the top as the greatest football player.

The disrespect these last few weeks towards this man is unbelievable. How fast they forget that this man literally was the at the very top in every season for the past 15 years. The disrespect is wild to the point where it seems his biggest haters are really enjoying this moment. After 15 years, they finally have the chance to hate on him so openly and enjoy the dip in his form. Us true football fans will never ever forget the legacy this man created and the impact he made to the game. We should be treating him like a king in his final years of playing. Breaks my heart. I wish I could go back in time where Messi and Cr7 played in LaLiga. The goats in the best teams of the world. He fitted so much into RM. He brought so much success to RM.
