People have the right to choose their own GOAT but for me, Prime CR7 was the MOST COMPLETE player OF ALL TIME. There wasn't a single thing he couldn't do. Left foot, right foot, headers, insane freekicks, dribbling and skills, penalties, speed and acceleration, goalscoring machine, close range and long range, UNDERRATED passing/crossing ability (which was basically what he was doing his entire first 5 years in Man United as a midfielder), strength and physicality (stamina). Ronaldo's 07-08 was arguably the best individual season in Premier League history but far from Ronaldo's best season. The scary thing is he hadn't even entered his prime yet. 2010-2014 was Ronaldo's prime in terms of completeness, nothing he couldn't do.

Also, unpopular opinion, but I think 21-22 at Man.United might be one of his best seasons if you take context into account. I can't think of many other players (if any) who would've done what he did in such a terrible team.

the 11/12 ronaldo season is the absolute top 2 prime season out of any version of a player, passes, playmaking, skills, dribbling, positioning, pace, physical, stamina, headers, weakfoot, long shots, free kicks. Only 14/15 is on the same level

I remember I was 13 years old watching euro 2004, back then, I was (still am) a huge classic football buff and I was fascinated with this brazilian player, Garrincha, a pure right winger in the golden era of football, that used to have a repetitive but devastating dribble, always reaching the touchline and crossing, the move looks simple, but not even the best ones of the time could stop him. During the Portugal tournament , I started to notice this kid, shirt number 17 with blonde highlights wreaking havoc in the right side of the field, there was something about him, he possessed fancy step overs, had blistering pace and always seem willing to attack, seemingly unafraid to dare. I noticed his signature dribble, a feint, beating opponents with pace and finally crossing or attempting to shoot, it was like if Garrincha spirit was alive again in this kid. Never passed back unless it was absolutely mandatory. Since that tournament I knew I had seen someone special, someone that was going to get into the annals of the sport. 16 years later, that scrawny kid with the blonde highlights and huge piercings would become in my opinion, in the second most complete footballer the world has ever seen, only behind O rei Pelé. People now recognize him as the super fit, record smashing, goal scoring machine that is the best keeper´s nightmare. But for me in the early 2000´s, who witnessed the madness this guy used to bring into the premier league, has become stampled in my head. For me, the last pure right winger, until his transformation. Thanks Legasus for bringing back the memories of the once greatest dribbler in the world. Great video.

It looks easy but I am gonna put this out there , just running on the pitch is very exhausting for players and this guy used to do his step over and feints and skills with same intensity throughout and still generate enough power to kick the ball from ranges. I mean that’s out of this world. The stamina , the gameplay and overall athleticism. Hats off. I am fan of messi and Ronaldo both. I love football and the hard workers and talents. That’s weird because in the last week I’ve seen Ronaldo miss a penalty and go absent in a final which his team lost. Furthermore, Ronaldo hasn’t scored a free kick since the World Cup whilst Messi has scored over 2 dozen since then. These days Ronaldo was truly a beast. He tends to play as a winger in these days so he was not been able to score too many goals. He himself didn't focused on scoring goals he was a phenomenal playmaker in those Golden Days. Otherwise, he must have won 1 - 2 Ballon d'or in these seasons while Messi was still not been able to grow his beard. ❤❤😂

No need to bring MESSI to this.. But if u do in 2007, the next year, MESSI dribbled the whole getafe midfield + Defender + keeper... And scored.. Cr7 has NEVER done so even in his prime.. MESSI is a waaayyyyyyt better dribbler, even till date.. Except u want to put sentiment before fact......

​@@hackd3691 I wasn't saying that Ronaldo was the best in 2005/06, I was saying that he was already one of the best on his position at just 20 years of age. As an overall player Ronaldinho was still the very best in that season because he was still in his prime. Ronaldo was the hottest young talent in the world next to Rooney who was also 20 but both already had reached the world class. In season 2006/07 it was very close between Kaka and Ronaldo but unfortunately AC Milan outclassed ManUtd in the semi final second leg and that was the moment when Kaka had his his ballon d'or in his pocket. Ronaldo could have won the ballon d'or at 22 which would have made him the second youngest ballon d'or after Ronaldo Nazario.
