Yes Red Beard, theirs a lot of idiots out there that would think it was staged. I’m just glad the fuel didn’t run down your back and lit you up. That would of been bad
Rebuild it!!!!!!!!! Like if you agree.

andrew stamberger etard adventures is working on rebuilding it
Glad you weren't hurt brother, chassis can be rebuilt, plastic replaced, and engines rebuilt, but glad nobody was injured seriously in the fire
Put a ABC fire extinguisher on all your go karts.

And a decent sized one as well, not the tiny juice-box sized one he used!
Dang brother glad yall are alright ignore the haters, keep building brother.
Need to start a wall of shame...lol...good show Greg
BTW small fires like that don't bother steel frames. All that steel got more than a thousand degrees hotter when it was produced.
Gosh... That's music... Right in the feels
Love to see you and quad ricers do a drag race once their snowmobile buggys done! They are pretty close!
Thanks guys another nice video.
Awesome video RBG!!!
Hopefully the 670 aftermarket will begin to grow. This is a prime example of why they need to start selling replacement parts for this beasts........ Save the block for a mock up engine or in case of a catastrophic failure on the new one...... Just a thought....
Good bit of scrap metal lol. Got to love the scrap yard.
For sale!!!!! BRAND NEW go kart with a flaming hot paint job! The only thing you will need is tires(rims included but no tires) Motor is broken in and well,it will do some HOT AF burnouts!!! DON'T MISS THIS DEAL OF A LIFE TIME!!!! Remember those commercials(but for cars) smh... +Red Beard's Garage
Sorry to see that I feel bad for ya’all I’m just glade none of you were hurt... That’s a big set back... HarborFreight does sale fire extinguisher’s so I’m going to pick up one or two when I pick a new 212 Hemi engine.... I pray things will work out for ya’all....
I like how y'all just stood around warching it burn.
Good Lord! I felt like I lost a family member during the year down, thanks to the music!

Lol thats what my wife said when she watched it
Not saying it wasn't running rich but I bet more of that buildup came from the oil that gets slung into the intake before you put the catch can on it. The pushrods being hollow I bet they are oil galleries for the upper head since it has a pressurized oiling system.
Hey Red you got to look at the good side of it , the flywheel take and cut it down so you can see how lite you can get it and make the next motor run. The Exhaust cut the tabs off so you can make a head for the next motor. Just use the stuff off of this motor to experiment with. you can learn a lot from using the old parts.
@modelnutty6503

yup, like I'd just said about butchering the intake differently for a pair of motorcycle slide valve carbs

I don't think that would work, with the magnets subjected to so much heat they're probably gone. They won't energize the coils.
That’s why the carts I design I include a custom quick extinguish system
I teared up a bit watching the last 2 episode. So sad.
playing the mushy music while you stood around and filmed it burn-cool
Some say that this video is fire
I was an awesome go Cart I’m sorry for your loss guys it was a cool
the begging was very sad ..... Rebuild! YAY!
Honestly i know im glad all u guys r ok from all that happening. Its pretty messed up that ppl would think it was staged. Thats bs. Love ur videos man i have learned a ton from u.

Red when are ya gonna have her up and running again
I feel your pain. Did the same thing to a drag sled 10 years ago, cause was a fuel leak. Did you guys figure out how it happen? If it didn't get to hot the crank should be good. I rebuilt mine to go on and win two national events later that year. And now my grand kids ride it at the farm. But remember you now have a motor to teach the kids. Plus you have some use able parts. If were me I would rebuild it and bore it out and build radical go cart motor.
I love that 670
Man I can't wait to see a 670 build I love those motors ..I'ma hafta start a buggy build with a 670 one of these days
save the block . you know sooner or later someone is going to come out with some hypo stroker setup
The engine is mad max style now.
Water probably made it into the cylinders via the crispy carb/intake manifold and through open or slightly leaky valves. Personally I'd clean it up best you can, oil everything and bag it for storage. If you ever throw a rod or something on another 670, you've got spare block/parts.
RIP 670,,,I'm sure she's looking down from that Heavenly Ripsnot track in the sky! You will be missed!
Here's an idea for the old block. Polish it up and then turn it into a wall clock. You can leave the cover off and make the cam gear the center point of the clock. Then you can do some kind of give away contest with the clock.
Rebuild it! Fabricate a shroud! I need to see it run again...I need it! Sorry to get so emotional. :)
Very good
Before u trash the block look at the Briggs twin. The coils will work on it the carb should(I have a 670 and a 20hp lawn mower and was making the comparison) I think the stator works the flywheel looks the same. Might be a cheap viable option on a rebuild
Just thankful no one got hurt.
Sorry for your loss man. That metal compassion has probably been compromised. Your call though. Like your vids man. Good job.
All of the store brand stuff that Northern Tool and Harbor Freight come from the same manufacturer, they're just licensed under a different brand name, you can get parts from NT but under Powerhouse brand name, just take the parts you need with you to NT and they will match them up.
It would be nice to see that 670 running again but it might make more financial sense to get a new engine and fix up the old one as a spare long block.
RIP 670 you will be missed.
Love it😂😂
The saying 🔥Hotmess comes to mind but a 💪Hossmess is more fitting! LOL✌
So sad watching it burn!
Can wait for the full suspension buggie
you should keep that block and build a drag engine with it, one that only runs for short bursts so it doesn't need much cooling. people who make 50 horsepower 390s and stuff use an aluminum disc with no cooling fins for the flywheel because they run for such a short time
Man, I'm sick for you Red. So sorry to see this. Hope you can recover this loss. You did a lot of work to this and as you said in the beginning, you also put a lot of money into this only to see it go up in smoke. Needless to say, get yourself a fire extinguisher to strap on the inside of the cockpit in case something like this ever happens again, God forbid.
I would keep the long block as a parts core. The heads, block, crank, cam, rods, and pistons could all be salvaged and used. Maybe use it to build a super 670?
Just a thought but u should keep the block tho in case u ever blow one up u never know wat part u may need
"YOU'RE ON FAR YOU'RE ON FAR!!" big red 2018
R.I.P. 670😢😭😭
Legend says that after this video red cried for 3 hours like his video to make him feel better
Well, it happened. I've had a build burn too. It sucks. Was a nice truck. Was.
That block might make a good boat anchor...
Turn into an air compressor

actually a very practical idea there, it'd be a BEAST of an air compressor

Alex the Railfanning Redneck™ yes they can
I would have been pissed after all that work!!!! lol
You're getting better with the green screens. :)
appreciate the de-build man. sorry about the toasted kart, but shit happens. you should invest in some fire extinguishers moving forward. didn't have to get that bad.
Wowsers I bet you feel badly about that fire, oh well nobody's fault for what happened I'm glad no one got hurt
moral of the story is especially on a kart that big is carry a damned fire estinguisher!!!! got yourself a few parts for the hoard tho :)
And to think this is because of something as simple as just leaving the muffler stock.
Suck that it burned up made for a great tear down follow-up video. Keep up the great vids Red
to that engine I would put piston valves crankshaft and more oil cooling to see how much is removed, I have an idea to make some bearings to improve the suspension of the back make them a rare red material
Hell yeah
Never ever, ever throw away nut's and bolts never, ever, you never know when you might need one...
I tell u what me and u have the exact opposite fortune like when u had started this build my go kart fell apart and now that it is burned up I just got a free dirt bike and car frame to work on #RIP670
You can use most Honda parts
For just the price of a cup of coffee a day you can help redbeard heal
You should make it a long travel buggy while your at it i was following one buggy build and the dude just gave up on it
That thang looks liiiiiiit bruh! Lol
Looks like you would benefit from a small media blasting cabinet.
Shitty fire..but at least you have parts for the next one 😉
Take it back to HF and say it wont run. Lol

Gentleman we can rebuild him we have the technology. The Six Million Dollar Man.
Scrap yard ready
Real bummer eh. A toasty 670 kart.
you should make a clock out of the side cover.
I'm sure you could add that metal to your scrap pile and take it in for $ from time to time. Better than putting it a landfill. Get your money's worth Red.
@FourDollaRacing

Agreed! Particularly the Aluminum....
You may not have coils but i can tell you right now the Honda GX620 uses the same coils as the Predator 670cc V power equipment should be able to hook you up for a starter/coil and for a fan shroud you can build one out of sheet metal will take some time to make but is possible.
Cars and cameras did a drag cart using a 670,if you watch there videos there's a site they used to get there parts
@gerrittklashorst7306

philip Berube in a higher comment he said that he has tried to get parts from them cause he already had a bunch of parts he just used on another 670 for a future build and even they couldn't find the parts he needs yet cause the 670 is so new there just isn't a aftermarket yet

alot of the parts can be made such as the cover u can make it out of metal or fiberglass the fan i think u can get after market fans now for them the start easy to find the heat shiels can be made a brand new 670 is 700-1200bucks and for probably 300 u can just be made they wont look the best but id be willing to bet for half the cost of a new one u can just rebuild that one
@RedBeardsGarage

All the parts to fix the engine was more than buying a new one. I priced everything out after the video.
Your lucky they was there to tell u was on fire. Glad u didn't get hurt.
i would of loved to see if you could still get the crispy engine running again
some of those parts you can work a deal with cars and cameras fir the stock parts they took off the 670 rail that they built the piss out of and basically doubled the hp
My suggestion would be to find a returned 670 from harbor freight for parts.
Rebuild it you have the technology call it the pheonix and put a 570 snowmobile engine on it rapid!!
I think you need to do a "Mad Max" re-build! Rusty frame burnt engine and all!
Oh man that sux the kart burnt.....is this the one that Bubbzification and Etard have got now????
long block build for a replacement and mod time.
Why did you toss the TC? Replace the driven pulley spring and the bearings and go to town. As far as replacement parts, get the Honda equivalent.
be cool to see you guys make amphibious go-kart then you can do that fishing you been talking about
If the engine's manufacturer won't sell the parts to you, maybe you could ask for them (in one of your videos) from people with blown engines. Better for you to have them than a junk yard.
Yo Red Beard you should take the burnt 670 to a metal scrapyard and let us know how much you get out of it
Make the old engine block into a flower pot
well.....it did make it easier to find all the bolts...just say-in...
You could possibly sell the internals to somebody who blew up their 670, and maybe the torque converter is still good. The water might be from when you were putting the fire out.
Hey man!! Can you do me a favor and look up mini cup cars?? I reeeally would love to see one of these on your build list. I’ve always wanted to build one and I think you’re creativity could really do wonders with one of these
can i cry now?
