It looks great, but the recipe for the batter isn’t in the video or on your website that you posted. If it’s on the website, it’s very hard to find.

Will it have a negative effect if I don’t use corn starch in the batter ?

It won't make much of a difference but the mixture will be less thick so you can opt to add a bit more flour. Hope this helps!!

BATTER : Batter 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or other flour of choice like buckwheat, GF, etc.) 1 1/2 tbsp corn starch 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp room temp. water , additional 1-2 tbsp more if needed
Is there an alternative to breadcrumbs if I don’t have any? 😅

You can try some desiccated coconut or some crushed/processed oats :)
