Ingredients:
1. 2pcs of ripe bananas 🍌
2. 1 pack of spring roll wrappers 🥟
3. Oil for frying (peanut oil or any high smoke point oil), about 500ml 🛢️
4. Optional: Chocolate sauce for dipping or ice cream as a side dish 🍫🍦
Instructions:
1. Peel the bananas and cut each banana lengthwise into 8 pieces. 🍌🔪
2. Place a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape, with one corner pointing towards you. 🔷
3. Place a piece of banana at the bottom corner of the wrapper, fold the bottom corner over the banana, then fold in the sides, and roll it up tightly, sealing the edge by pressing lightly with your hand. 👌
4. Heat about 2.5cm of oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium heat.
5. When small bubbles start to form, place a wooden chopstick in the oil. If small bubbles cling to the chopstick, adjust the oil temperature to low heat. 🍳🔥
6. Carefully place a few spring rolls into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until they turn light golden brown and crispy, then remove and drain excess oil. 🥟✨
7. Dust with powdered sugar (optional) and serve warm with chocolate sauce for dipping or with ice cream for an extra special treat. 🍫🍦
