That's true, but the fight was still drawn out. Makoto even with the suit nerfing him could have EASILY knocked Io out cold with a few punches.

Makoto didn't want to fight seriously for two reasons: A. He hates the Goddess Bug, and B. He doesn't want to show people everything he is capable of.

Io was humiliated in that moment, because rose sign is absolutely impossible to cancel which means Makoto was playing with him while Io was ready to lose his life Makoto treated him like a kid, basically "I'll not kill you and even killing yourself isn't an option"

I love that Mio's voice was the AI in the suit

The legend of the white devil is part of the plot. Gives Makoto constant cringe attacks when it gets brought up.

Crunchyroll comments i find always find smt to latch onto or complain about, and allot of the time its just silly nit picks or stupid stuff. This show has been rather enjoyable and i still like it.

I have to agree with yuh on social media rotting peoples brains. Especially with tiktok, which should be banned. There's a lack of brain power in general, social media makes it worse. I want to add about Hibiki's power. If you noticed in the episode, the person talking to her. Before the power/blessing was giving to her, wasn't the trash goddess. And it's probably how tomoki got his trump card as well. This is why Rona said Hibiki is more dangerous. Because in the long run, her power from her natural charisma. Will be more useful and dangerous, then tomoki's ntr magic eyes. And yes i do like Mio and Tomoe fetishes. Especially when they mean towards Makoto. XD Because it does drive him nuts. lol And it is funny to watch/read. XD

I'm enjoying the fact that both of Hibiki's power-ups are archetypal tropes in anime and manga. Even though she doesn't want it, she gained the Power of Fanservice from the goddess with the new armor, in addition to gaining the Power of Friendship, when asked to make a choice in the void. Its an interesting view point that the author chose to have the most heroic member of the three travelers shoulder those two tropes, instead of the MC getting the friendship power-up.

What fans want is the next episode: Makoto showing off his own ridiculous power. (This isn't a spoiler, I haven't read light novels or anything, but I know.)

My biggest and only problem is i need to wait another week for the next episode.

At an estimated release schedule of every 4 months minimum the Official English translated LN volumes will catch up to this season about 2 years from now. March 30-vol 1 July 30-vol 2(according to Amazon) I admire your dedication.

Makoto, in his own Kamen Rider outfit, will never stop being so much awesome

This show was lit, it was good battle humor. Especially the part where he’s trying to figure out what his suit can do. Plus that fan service was amazing

Mio is interested in tokusatsu (Kamen Rider, Super Sentai) Tomoe likes Samurai stories and Mystery and Eris strong telepathy showed her the Maho Shoujo (Magical Girl) genre and she got hooked on it, much to her sister's chagrin.

My only pet peeve is that Makoto's Kamen Rider Kick wasn't followed by an explosion that also hit Io (but not killed him) or a huge spider logo, those things are needed.

the ironic thing is, in the web novel, its not a kamen rider suit, but a super sentai suit. which explains why he HATED IT, since it was a very form fitting spandex.

The problem is that there tryign to condense so much stuff in 23 minutes I always suspected is that if it was a 30 min time block it be much better paceing

It's hard to find the perfect middle ground for fans when it comes to action and world building.

I’m def enjoying this season so far, and I read the web novel chapters ahead of the anime. I don’t have any issues with anime, I’m just happy is getting more exposure.

Those kids who calls it cringe forgets that they are watching a Japanese show, a country that invented Kamen Raiders and are legends. So, I think the real cringe here are those kids.

I think people are mixed in power fantasy in general because they stick with the series for some reason but when the series shift to something else but its not that what made them like the series its just feel awful. An small example of a group that watched anime with me was in Slime at first they liked the characters but in season 2 made it clear that it was not the focus,then it was the fights but after the Milim "fight" they lost interest in the series because of how low stakes everything is.

This show is just so awesome, I'm happy there mad, there still watching even tho they mad😂😂.

Part of the comedy (in many Anime) is all the references to other properties and aspects of the culture. It's not a new thing, anyone who watches anime knows that surely.

Is Slime good politics? I've only seen season 1 (just recently), and the comparison to Tsukimichi was not good for Slime. Yeah, they're talking and negotiating, but everybody is nice and reasonable and they don't actually have any conflicts of interest. Everybody comes together and agree that Rimru's city is a great thing that needs to be supported, *even the demon lords*. In comparison there are no easy solutions in Tsukimichi, the human kingdoms have believable rivalries, the demons are fighting for their place in a world dominated by humans, the humans aren't giving anything away and Makoto's demihumans scrabble on the fringes. If everybody just sat down together and talked it out it wouldn't change a thing.

I’ll tell you what I want and what my problem is.. there are 2 episodes left out of 24 , and he has literally just now confronted Sophia at the end of Ep22 and for some stupid reason has not made contact with any of the heroes , I loved season 1 , but season 2 has been one giant 🍆 tease..!! all the things I wanted to see in this second season #1 the rematch with Sofia #2 revenge on the goddess #3 meeting the heroes #4 awesome MC fights like the Ep12 of season 1 ..! They now only have two episodes , Do you think we’re gonna get to see more than one thing on my list.?! Here’s how I predict this is going to end , EP 23 the fight with Sophia EP 24 some more fighting with Sophia and a brief meeting with the hero girl and a cliffhanger with the bad hero guy , the end & and then start praying that they’ll actually make a season 3…. This is why I just like “one piece” so much , it gets thousands of episodes, and it is a mediocre anime that can’t hold my attention..! Whoever directed and produced season 2 of moonlit fantasy should be kicked in the nuts 😊❤

Who even cares bout the other heroes? All the attention on them is half my issue with this season. The other half is mikotos bullshitting. How many "I'm over this. No more getting fucked over." moments does he need to have before he actually starts doing shit?

The suit looks like goku in his super saiyan form.

People who complain about the anime in my opinion are web/light novel/manga readers, which I am part of, the reason being the quality of those compared to the anime(much more details, manga is even better drawn in my opinion than the anime and more). Putting that aside, I am happy and grateful we got season 2 and hopefully season 3 and more(web novel for me which is 463 chapters, not including side chapters and other stories is easy 5 seasons, maybe more depending on how much is skipped).

i dont think that's what it is. if anything, people who read the novel KNOW what is going to happen, and KNOWS how important it is. if anything, they complained on season 1 for skipping the heroes story, since its important to the story that we see the link between hibiki and mio in her original form. the readers are far from angry at the anime, since its showing exactly what we wanted to see. also, i gotta remind people, the novel readers have read the WEB novel, not the LIGHT novel. which is VERY diferent in many ways. including Makoto LITERALY not caring for the students, to the point of SHIKI, getting depressed and shaken from the realization that makoto really doesnt give a FCK about any of those people.

My I only gripe about the anime... is they should play into just how nuts the girls actually are... they come off too stable in he anime... That and well the start of season two was painfully slow watching week by week... go.back.and binge it and just goes right bye like a deep breath after the climax of season one. By the time you want things to get back on track it starts moving again.

I like the power Rangers suit perfect amount of cringe 😂

Main issue with fight scenes its not well done their was no intensity in it . Only 1 good fight is where mc and sheki show students their fight that was some epci moment . In the end episodes it really lacked epic moments in fight scenes

Hibiki is a shrewd hero, it might be spoiler as I only read the manga and watching the recent episodes as the anime is ahead now, but in the manga she stated that she is ok to decimate the demons and enslaving them as for her it is the fastest way to achieve peace in this world.

Moonlit Fantasy fights is funny.

@@ssarellas First of all, he's not a trash mob. lol He's literally a general of the demon army. XD And that's the same for Sophia. She is actually stronger then she was, the last time they fought. But then again so is Makoto. And you saw how easily she trashed the poser male hero. Also shiki will be fighting as well, which we didn't get to see before. We get to see the training results, that Mio and Tomoe gave him. Also this story has a lot of world building and politics in it. Plus the merchant business stuff. Because his main goal, which was mentioned in the anime. That he wants to create affordable and very good medicine. For the general masses of that world. Which so far he is doing. But it's mainly just for that country, his shops apart of currently. It hasn't spread to all the countries. Plus some of his other plans, involve learning about his parents and their past. So he can have some understanding of them. Since he most likely won't see them or his sisters again. Root explained how hard it would be, to visit back to his old world. That's it's not 0%, but pretty close to it. In terms of odds of doing so. Which was explained in more detail in the WN. Even though makoto kinda got confused. But as the readers, we got to see the full explanation.

@@gohanangered9650 Nah he's weak, that giant dude almost got defeated by the heroes. I'm not excited for this fight at all, I rather see the mc teach Rona a lesson since she was the mastermind. But I guess nobody is gonna bother her with anything, and that's another problem i have with this anime. It feels like there's no payback, they're just gonna end the season in an unsatisfying way It's also frustrating to watch because they kept building up the tension for this conflict but the mc didn't really fought anyone until now and the guys he's fighting now are just trash mobs and I'm just not excited for it. The only one who I wanted him to fight was Rona, but we're not gonna see that

Because he has sophia standing in his way, along with lancer. And it's a very bad take to call them trash mobs. And no Makoto isn't strong enough to beat the trash goddess currently in the story either. In case you're thinking that.

it is kinda like an asspull, but that's on purpose. like the voice said before, tomoki also got that power before. and makoto could end up getting one as well, but he probably wont. its meant to be a meaningfull upgrade to hibiki, and because of the way it works, its gonna twist her into becoming similar to tomoki but in a completely diferent way. this is also a way for the story to show who hibiki really is, or at least start hinting at.

In the last few videos and in some comments it seems like you address and thus possibly take to heart a lot of what people are complaining about. Most of it is just jokes or people being people. I think the biggest issue that people have with Tsukimichi is when they dont understand the characters. This can be seen with people when they say stuff like "why did X do Y, it doesn't make sense" etc. Yet the way the character behaves is completely in line with the characters personality and goals meaning it should be expected for "X to do Y". A large part of this is because i think people are used to projecting themselves onto the MC in a genre like isekai. But the characters in Tsukimichi arent meant to be projected onto like this, and they certainly dont fill the sterotypical role of hero or villain. This results with a disconnect as people seem to be expecting the MC to act how "they" would act themselves, or how a stereotypical hero would act. Thoughts?

he did, he just didnt kill the guy, because he neither wanted to show off his abilities in front of hibiki(a hero who will probably side with the goddess if he is forced to face her later), nor want animosity with the demon lord, something he thinks would happen if he killed one of his generals. i mean, he is basically thinking how well would he get with someone who killed tomoe, mio or even shiki...

Season 1 had a problem with the adaptation skipping important content. But the pacing was good. A little too fast at times, but overall rewatchable. Season 2 has a problem with the adaptation where it's adapting the light novels well in terms of not cutting out important content, but the pacing is slow as hell. This latest episode of season 2, episode 22, literally drags out the fight scene of Io vs Makoto for NO reason. It's atrocious. Instead of 25 episodes, this second season should have been greenlit for 24. An episode can make a big difference in terms of series composition. It surely would have made the Director bump the pace up a notch.

this episode was important because it does 3 things. 1-gives time for sofia to arrive(she was almost on the other side of the country). 2-makes makoto first real conflict with the demon army, and shows that he doesnt know how to deal with, since what he wants, and what he needs to do are in conflict with each other. 3-gives hibiki her power boost, which is a major plot point for later. this reminds me of when the season started and people complained that they didnt care about the heores, without realizing how important to the story they are. they literaly move ALOT of the plot foward.

The thing for me is the entire season is just so boring. They could have made 2 big episodes to start off the anime to exposition dump a bit introduce the Heroes, explain the conflict that is brewing etc. They could have basically did all the stuff they missed out on in the first season at the start of this season. They didnt do that. They started with Makoto doing some sidequest in the first episode and then went to cover the heroes in a manner that just does not make me interested in them as they rush through everything. Likely because the first season missed out on a lot like I said before. So they started out with Makoto and then jumped right into things a lot of people are likely not interested in that already feels bad as most people from S1 watch this anime for makoto and his crew. Then follows multiple episodes of just exposition dumping stuff on you characters just having a casual conversation for like 3/4 of a episode while monster tear up a the city, people having monologue after monologue that last nearly 3/4 a episode just filled with monologues etc. So many other anime are able to do it better than they did here. What they are doing is the same thing that happened to many other anime before trying to establish to much in a season with no plan how to properly pace the stuff which makes the whole season feel like utter garbage either they take to long on 1 topic or rush through 5 other ones. Thats how S1 near the end and S2 of Shield Hero got bad. I loved the first season and despise the second one. If they just paced everything out a lot better it would have been great but how they went about it made me fall out of love with this series as its just such a slog.

Not to mention at least one is COMPLETE garbage. The other I could take or leave, but most certainly she isn't as good as the crew. They should've introduced the heroes in an ova between seasons like slime did. Probably would've been accepted better.

@@1000MilezAhead the heroes NEED to be introduced. they are literaly the reason for most of the story happening. you also need to see the intro of them, to see how they started and how they change. as well as the connection between hibiki and mio. and yeah, the heroes suck. that's the point, one is a rapist and the other is an idealist idiot who puts herself far above others thinking she is the smartest person in the world. you know, kinda like a satire of how isekai protagonists are. with tomoki basically being the generic harem gatherer, and hibiki the power of friendship will win everything, because i got the power of god, anime and bewbs on my side. its on purpose. they are meant to show how those heroes really are, even though in most isekai, they are treated like walking divine beings with deus ex machina saving them left and right, you know, LIKE THE THE GODDESS LITERALY THROWING makoto at their problems.

Especially when you brought me in to the series with much better ones. I may eventually have to drop series. Even though I LOVED s1 so much, I could watch on repeat.

A very unsatisfying way to end the season

" They're evil and they made a fool out of him, it makes no sense." making ALOOOOOOOOOOT of assumptions there buddy... if anything, the hyumans are far more evil and cruel. to the point, he had a genuine reason to side with the demons, until that demon screwed him over. which is ironic, since he was 1 step away from getting in bed with them. as to why she did it, is very simple, 1- she did not know how trully strong he is, because the MC doesnt go around flaunting his power, and 2- she thought of herself as the smartest cookie in the jar. not realizing she almost doomed her entire race.

@@marcosdheleno She hasn't almost doomed anything because the mc is too much of a coward to do anything. They can make a fool out of him all they want because he's not gonna do anything And yes, they made it very clear this season that the demons are far more evil than humans. They're willing to manipulate and commit genocide anytime they want and for that reason alone he should not try to have friendly relationships with them Also I don't really care about the goddess, he should be more worried of those who try to screw him over in his world than a goddess he isn't even interacting with. Not sure why people are so obsessed with her

S2 sucks. S1 was way better.

Season 2 has been ass
