They have cameras in some state parks and hiking trails. I think it’s common sense to have eyes at every turn and corner that we could at the lake. I can’t picture myself rowing a boat or swimming knowing there could be a body anywhere near me

So, the young lady who was interviewed about the body being found in the water was concerned for how the deceased's body would affect her enjoyment of the water and not about the person who lost their life or the grief of that person's loved ones? I cannot think of a more Millennial thing to say.

How do you get a felony charge for throwing a pop-tart at a person? It’s amazing that this guy goes to jail but nothing happens to the guy who kicked another guy in the face with a boot. My sympathies for the victim there. Crazy stuff like this is why I’m glad I left that stupid city.

No foul play? Yet, there have been several bodies found in that lake in the last few years? Give me a break. If they don’t already, I would think it would be ideal to over 24 hours security and or surveillance in that area to determine why people keep mysteriously found dead there. That’s ridiculous.

You always investigate a death as a homicide. If no evidence is found to support homicide, then so be it.

From all reports the APD doesnt have the people to investigate actual crimes let alone possible ones.. Get use to it.. It isnt going to get any better in the next decade. They stopped traffic enforcement when they eliminated motorcycle group and have reassigned many special groups to patrol to respond to calls..

Austin is terrible. Its obviously a serial killer. There have been many many men found dead after leaving a bar down close to the river. One that thankfully had a friend walking with him said he fely hot and really messed up like he had been drugged. If not for his friend ,he may have been murdered. They need cameras everywhere around there. This is crazy. I have lived in another part of Texas with lots of rivers and lakes and this is way beyond normal.

I read since 2022 12 people have drowned in Lady Bird Lake. There have been other drownings in nearby waterways as well. I find that odd. Lake Piru where actress Naya River drowned has also had a high number of drownings. There have been an unusually high number of drownings since the 90s in various US lakes. The number is in the hundreds possibly in the low thousands. What are the odds that most of the victims are college age, white males. Some had been drinking others hadn't. They disappeared and were found drowned. In Indiana an 18 year old high school boy went to Versailles State Park in March to take pictures, he was a talented photographer, and was found drowned. He had no reason to be in the lake. I find that highly disturbing but there are no signs of foul play, Something very strange has been going on for a very long time.

You couldnt pay me to swim in that lake!

I can't write them all off but overly drunkenness played an instrument in most of these mysterious cases and that's what I am Discerning. 😮
