It's a damn shame what happened to Crewe. I lived there for many years and it used to be a lively place. Good shopping centre and good nightlife (especially the much loved and much missed Limelight club). The council knocked down a huge chunk of the town centre a couple of years ago in preparation for a big entertainment complex then cancelled the project and currently have no plans to fill the empty space (yet have gone ahead and built a new multistory car park - who the heck is going to be visiting the town centre now?). Mismanagement all around. Thanks for the video.

He went all over Crewe to find the closed shops. And buildings and then edited it all together High street is being upgraded and so is high town

WTF has happened to Crewe!!?? Its now a hellscape of delapidation and utter depression. I feel for the people living here. The Government (both local and National) have let the people down massively. It will almost be impossible to turn this round. Why do we pay taxes at all??? Why pay taxes at all???

I lived in Crewe for 14 months my mtrs is from Crewe and it’s terrible the town centre is a bomb hole

Well it's nice to see a true picture of Crewe it's totally over for Crewe ever since we lost the HS2 promise And what the council have done to the town is shocking just a carpark and bus station WTF They have destroyed the history promised a shopping centre but run out of cash so they only had enough for the multi story carpark and bus station it's absolute comedy for anyone looking at Crewe I am ashamed to live here and don't get me started on the pot holes 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣

He was going to show what shops were open but the video would have been to short it really is that bad absolutely dead the council are screwed no money & been forgotten by the government because we live above Birmingham and are in another country not londonian

My mum's born and bred, she's now ashamed to say she comes from here. Years of a council and county council that have no interest in the town. Absolute disgrace
