I'm really glad you are back! I love your videos! About that incubation cool incubation temperature which should lead to bigger crests and larger heads. Have you noticed that in your colony specifically from parents that are lacking structure? Do the hatchlings with cooler incubation temperature develop greater structure than the parents in that case?

I've hatched some cresties and was curious about few things that caught my attention. I once hatched two clutchmate cresties at pretty high temperature(about 28degree celcius) and they came out both as a harlequin+pretty strong dalmatian. The parents had few dalmatian spots as well, but the offsprings showed much more than the parents. After then, it became winter and I hatched 4 more cresties at low temperature(about 23C, same parents), and they showed much less dalmatian spots so far. So my question#1 is, does dalmatian trait show off more at higher hatching temperature? And question #2 is, do clutchmates have very similar traits? My first two clutchmates both came out as harlequin+dalmation, then next was both harlequins, then last was both pinstripe harlequins. All the clutchmates had similar traits except their base color, which was usually different.

The eggs started very white and still are but there seems to be a slight hue to them. Not sure if it’s a gecko baby inside or not. No mold. Should I candle them now that I know we can gently handle them?

They can change slightly over time. Some will take on a tan or even pinkish color. As long as they are firm and not moldy, they are very likely fertile.

Yeah altitude exotics aka Brian I got a question I got this young male Creasted gecko and female that are about to be 1 years one this June because I got both of them on my birthday which is the 11th but my male crusty every since we found out their gender my boy Tony tried to mate with my female twice and every since he almost got a latch on her his never eat crickets 🦗 like how he use two and his very skinny and I think his stressing for not getting any but I don’t can you help me out I would really appreciate it because every time tried to ask tikisGeckos a question of Crested Geckos they never answer but you so thank you if it wasn’t for I wouldn’t learn how to breed so I can’t wait to!!😆😆👍🏻👍🏻

No I haven’t bread them yet but I want to but ever since he almost got an hold on her he’s been eating less and he lost a ton of weight but before he got sexually mature he was always skinny so I think he’s stressing because he hasn’t got you know what with my female so what do I do
