I once saw a sort of PSA in youtube one time about sex trafficking of children here in the Philippines. It was eerie. The kids were presented with their favorite stuffed toys. And no children were shown in the whole ad. Just their dirty plushies. And a narration tells the story of kids and what they were forced to do. I will always remember it. I never ever found it again. But it was really something.

Here in Canada in like the early 2010s there was this anti-drug PSA that got shown on kid’s TV. It was a girl who was looking in her mirror interspersed with clips of her destroying her room. As the vid went on her face got more and more disfigured with scratches and blemishes and stuff. All while this creepy rendition of “one two buckle my shoe” played in the background with the lyrics changed. It ended with “seven eight, feels too late.” Creeped the hell out of me as a kid.

For me the “i didn’t mean to shoot daddy’s gun” was the saddest and almost brought me to cry. The child seems so heartbroken and blames themselves so much for a simple mistake the child did. In my family mostly everything that happens is blamed on the child simply because they’re a child. The adult always gets off scot-free.

Crazy thing is that the fictional incident described in the "I didn't mean to shoot daddy's gun" commercial actually happened in my town. A little kid was shot by his younger brother who was a toddler after they found access to a gun belonging to the parents. I remember going to the funeral, and the family was absolutely devastated from his death. The younger brother had no idea was going on, and I can't blame him considering that he probably hasn't realized it's his brother who died. It was such a sad thing to see, and it made me realize how important it is to keep anything harmful away from children and securing weapons in proper places

The whole time, in the background, there's another kid that was getting picked on, had a hit list, was looking at gun info and whatnot and in the end he shoots the school up. KEEP THIS IN MIND. Ads aren't meant to be "good". They're meant to be memorable. That's why ads with shock value are or were so common. That's also why ads tend to use some kind of a catchy tune (sometimes very popular pop songs with lyrics changed as to describe/relate to product/service) and that's also why annoying ads work so well.

I remember a commercial like that, with a foggy red background, and a shadow of a woman holding a baby. You can hear constant coughing that is implied coming from the baby. Then a voice over mentions something about whooping cough in infants. I don't remember if it was a compensation ad, but I remember how scary the coughing was.

It then said ‘something, something, before it’s too late.’ That really freaked me out.

When the Humpty Dumpty one came up on your video, I was really disturbed by that. The other ones, not that much. Usually, at least from what I've seen, some TV commercials are getting weird and/or cringe-worthy now (e.g. the recent George Sink commercials.) Now there are still a lot of good and creepy commercials out there, but the commercials *at least in SC* are pretty eh. And also, I truly love how you did a voiceover when the jumpscares on the k-fee commercials popped up, I was truly holding in the laughter so I wouldn't laugh very loud. That and the video is very great, great job!

Wanna know something neat and true about Oni? They're not even genuine demons, they're gods of fortune and protection and show up to corrupted samurai and hated emperors who were wished dead and were disrespectful to their people! It's why it became branding of the Yakuza, they only targeted and exploited massively disgusting corporations. If you want a good Japanese-approved design, go to Dead by Daylight.

I remember seeing that roof tiling commercial all the time here in Australia, there are a few commercials that you don't get bored when they come onto the tv, mainly because the commercials don't do anything. But this one had a nice catchy song at the end & was one of my fav commercials lol.

I’ve got another creepy one. So it starts off with a black background with people saying “come on Dave! One more !” Then it’s the sound of a car crashing and screams. Then you can see an old woman feeding a disabled man in a wheelchair some green goop. The old woman is saying “ one more Dave, come on” then it’s a black background again and the old woman is saying the same thing but crying. It’s abt drinking and driving

The PSA for adult swim is creepy if I was a child watching that I would be terrified the rest of my childhood just imagine you walk downstairs to get some milk while your parents are watching adult swim and you see that… that’s why I hate adults that think it’s funny to scare little kids
