Yeah, I miss yt from those times. The various gems you could find were endless. I was DEEP into WTC conspiracy theories, watched even the most outlandish ones, believed some of the normal ones until I realized most of it lacked sense or did not prove anything except for a) finding the passport of one of the hijackers, BEFORE the towers fell or that even at all and b) I'm still wondering if it wasn't a missile a not a plane hitting the Pentagon.

Anyone remember the case where a group of girls went into those catacombs and they were drinking - well 2 of the girls decided to walk back out of the caves but the third decided to do a little more roaming .. well she got lost and being intoxicated was pretty much screwed. It was during winter too so the next night a crew went in and found her frozen solid. She was kneeling on the ground with her head burned between her knees. Just imagine going through what she did - drunk and lost in the catacombs - the next morning hung over and trying to make it out while slowly freezing to death. Ouch

@@thadpeud3057I was never a drunk teen or partying in the fields as was popular in my gen but w\o proof like today's kids that want to post it on Snapchat & crap. (I was born in 87 & grad in 06) but I was & still am a nerd & also growing up all sides of my family were addicts & alcoholics & none of them really made it out of that family curse, so my Bro & I both knew that drugs & alcohol were things we wanted to STAY FAR AWAY from growing up bc we didn't want dragged down. & We both did a good job but had some minor hiccups in our adult lives. Anyways, from the memories &stories of those around me who were drinking & partying, you STAY together. They'd party & get drunk in a field (again w\o evidence & sec cams werent huge back then so it was easier to sneak in & out.) & Would pass out in the fields together in vehicles, beds of trucks, tents whatever until they got up sober-ISH to sneak back home. But you STAY TOGETHER & don't let ppl take off. It's just, when everyone is drunk decision-making is VERY poor & impulse control is VERY low. Always best to have somebody the designated SOBER person b4 u get trashed! Altho for me once I was an adult I was always the sober 1 bc I still didn't really ever get into drinking. Plus, it would make me so sick & miserable I couldn't handle it! The 1x I REALLY got drunk, I was sick for a damn week! So, Typically I'd have 1 or 2 drinks the second we got there & get tipsy & switch to coke for the rest of the night & Be good. Then I made sure everyone got home safe & sound. & Tried to curtail them doing anything to crazy bad. 🤣 But just embarrassing stuff Id watch & relive w\them sober. I was terrible. But so we ppl gotta have their fun too.

I could understand if you were there while they were being filmed and knew they were legitimate, but sitting in a well lit room while munching on Cool Ranch Doritos knowing they're staged, does not induce fear. Honestly? I've seen better film on soup. So yeah, it's just you.

I love the fact that the density of graffiti on the walls are a measurement for how deep you are in the catacomb‘s labyrinth. In a world where mystery makes money and things like found footage, ARG, and the like exist, it’s truly amazing that some people are just fully ready to believe this stuff. Along with just being blatantly staged, the story of how the guy miraculously came across the perfectly undamaged video tape footage is very very suspect too. Creepiest thing i ever found on youtube in the early 2000’s: Footage that looked like legit leaked moon footage. Two astronauts were exploring what looked like a wrecked out building on the moons surface. What was creepy about it: 1. They moved like the astronauts in the old footage of the moon landing. 2. Their suits were apolo program suits. 3. The building was sized for humans and looked like it was from some unexplained intersection of the 70’s 40’s and 80’s. 4. The exterior looked like it was meant for normal planetary use. So wtf was it doing on the moon? 5. They did a pan shot to look at the lander near the building, they later took a shot of the lander outside the building through the front door from inside the building.

The explorer might have started to panic because he was slowly realizing his chances of getting out of there were becoming real low. Plus when you are that deep in a catacomb almost everrything becomes scary. From noises to anything visible. In such a state, the sensatiions becomes more active and sharper. Who is to say, he might not have had a supernatural encounter. It is clear the explorer was scared for his life.

True but as many pointed out, dropping the camera which was a source of light in the dark dank catacombs would lessen your chances of getting out or seeing where you're going & not running into walls in the dark. I'd doubt he'd have gotten far b4 having to go back for the camera. Assuming this is a true story which I have serious doubts as to it's veracity.

If they didn’t find the body after exploring deeper in the catacombs after finding the camera than there is a chance the guy either got out or was never found, but I believe he died and his body was never found due to how the guy not only signed his own death warrant by throwing the camera away but also how he didn’t stop to rewind the footage so that he could retrace his steps and find his way out

The catacombs video could simply be that the guy recording had panic setting in. The robbery theory is also really valid, since there's plenty of people going in to a secret spot. Some explorers have meeting locations where they hang out with people. There's even secret parties being held. Tho there's also a huge chance that it's a hoax video since the guy who supposedly got it from someone else, somehow managed to find the exact location where the video was shot. While the catacombs are supposedly massive

Imagine your flashlight goes out in the catacombs and it's now pitch black. You try to fumble your way through the dark, hoping to stumble upon a way out. It's quiet in the deep, dark maze of hallways, save for some dripping sounds of water, and your own breathing and footsteps. You hear a faint sound in the far distance, similar to that of a car engine accelerating, or the groan of a hungry creature. You get a cold feeling, and shudder at the thought that you're not alone in this place. You pause for a few seconds to observe using your other senses. You sniff to smell a wet mossy smell, but with a slight tang like how an old basement smells. You start to move slowly forward, but your footsteps sound like they're doubled. You pause again, except you feel warm breath against your cheek and nose. It isn't yours. You reach in front of you and lunge your hand forward to push away, and your hand makes contact, only briefly. Something starts screeching, something large and in pain. It's hungry.
