Your granny is so cute and funny. My grandma would tell us kids the stories of old Hawai'i and how they had to deal with the Menehune (Hawaiian leprechauns), spirit dogs, people walking down trails, then disappearing without a sound, etc. She could keep up spellbound for hours on end telling us these stories and we believed every one of them. Sends shivers down my spine just thinking about what I can remember now.

Great video! Your granny is amazing. I could sit for hours and listen to her. It's too bad that people don't take the time to listen to their elders' personal stories anymore. You don't realize what you've missed until they are no longer around to share them. Thank you, and her, for sharing these.

This is making me think of my grandmother. I'm rather close to mine also. Love hearing your grandmothers stories. This is extremely precious... You should do another one with your grandmother and tell her we enjoyed seeing and hearing her stories. Have a brilliant and beautiful day/night.

Great stories. And an awesome guest. The sneeze came at just the right time for that creepy effect. love the stories. I always love good stories!!!!!!!!!!! When My grandmother, on my moms side, was younger one of her sister died of scarlet fever. The day after she died my grandmother saw her stand beside her bed. When we I younger my family had a Dalmatian and the night he died my mon saw a shadow of a person dressed in black standing next to her bed. When I was younger I once saw a being looking like a lady in a white dress with brown hair standing in the middle of my room. She had a glow around her and she was watching me. Happy Halloween everyone!

I've heard from my mom that family members have said they smelled a weird scent before they died. It's called the death smell. So weird. My mom also told me her grandfather knew he was going to die one night & begged her to come home with him & her grandmother because he didn't want her grandmother alone. Sure enough in the morning my great gran found him dead. I wonder if he smelled that scent. And ooohhh I so hate that feeling like someone is behind you & you turn around & there's no one there. 🥴 Thanks for showing your Gran! She's so cute!!

My granny was the eldest of nine. And there were three more from her father's first marriage. I delved into my family history and my mum didn't even know half of it, and she knew absolutely nothing about Emily MacCarthy, the first wife. The second wife Rachael was my great-grandfather's second cousin. I have been to Donegal twice and love the place. So much like the West Highlands of Scotland. Someone once told me a story about the old times in Donegal and the priest who had the first flushing toilet in the village. One man asked the other 'What's the lavatory for?' He was told it's what the priest keeps his holy water in. Great video. It just got better and better as it went on, and it is not difficult to see where you get your talent for telling stories from. I loved listening to this and you should tell your granny that she should guest on your channel again.

Love your grandmother! This takes me back to sitting with my grandmother, listening to her stories of growing up. Sometimes she would tell ghost stories but mostly creepy legends. Perfect video for Halloween!

Well, I think we can now safely conclude at least a small part of Erin's personality might come courtesy of her grandmother based on this video. As a follow up question, was there more or less than one bottle of whisk(e)y consumed prior to filming this video? I'm taking the over on that bet.

The worst is yet to come😆I love her! I love chatting with my grandmother. Just the other day my mom was telling my grandma that her mother (my great gran) told my mom that her mother (my 2xgreat gran) was buried in the basement😂 which scared my mom even more because that house use to have funerals in the living room. It’s a Cape Verdean thing, my great grandparents were the first generation here in New England, which happens to be like the only area in the US to know what the heck a Cape Verdean is🇨🇻😎

Awww my Nannys irish too (Sligo) but she's passed. My Grandad was from the Caithness n the 2 of them were born story tellers. My Mammys parents are Italian and Glaswegian and they had some belters too. It's lovely listening to her and bringing back some lovely memories so cheers please tell your granny Slainte math.

You grandma is really cool, and funny, I enjoyed her telling a few stories, she's wonderful, ...and that summer home was so secluded, and placed in the midst of such beautiful scenery, what an awesome picture, where all you could see is the home, and the island landscape, and surely, you could hear the ocean. Your great granddad knew how to take the family on quite the summer getaway. Prayers 🙏

Some of my ancestors are from Donegal & Antrim (Mac Riada). Your grandmother reminds me of my Nana, who loved to hear & tell ghost stories.

Hello, i am a new subscriber here.. would just like to say.. what a beautiful down to earth Gran you have .. it is so rare to here this generation willing to talk about the spirit and i enjoyed it.. tell her from me that they know she is afraid and that is why they do not show themselves and it is only the living you should be afraid of.. no harm will ever come to you by a spirit because it sounds like your father is watching over you to keep bad spirits away from you, so never worry. Please cherish your Gran and all she say's for they are truly precious and life is very short. Loved hearing her telling her tales. :)) keep well :))

Hi Erin, always love watching your videos and your wee granny seems like a right trooper but what i really wanted to say is the fact that people always think my surname has like an eerie thing to it and i started to believe it as every time i'd moved house, the person prior has died or even when i moved school it was haunted in multiple areas.

Has your gran ever taken you on a death tour? Before my grandfather past one of the last times i saw him we drove around his town and pointed out everyone's house followed by.... They're dead now
