I grew up on the great music of the 60's-70's. CCR has always been one of my favorites. They don't have a bad song! John Fogerty has one of the most unique & recognizable voices around. All their songs are great - "Proud Mary", "Born On The Bayou", "Bad Moon Rising", "Lodi", "Green River", "Commotion", "Night Time Is The Right Time", "Down On The Corner", "Cotton Fields", "Midnight Special", "Travelin' Band", "Who'll Stop The Rain", "Fortunate Son", "Run Through The Jungle", "Lookin' Out My Back Door", "Long As I Can See the Light", "Suzie Q", "I Heard It Through The Grapevine", "Sweet Hitch-Hiker" etc.

I love listening to the Oldies Station growing up, and My first tape I ever bought was Credence Clearwater Revival Greatest Hits, my favorite is Down on the Bayou, and Green River; and my other favorite Bad Moon Risin, I used to set up my plastic army men playing war with CCR playing in the background, then run down to watch Tour of Duty and China Beach. Then I got older joined the Marine Corps, IL Army National Guard, and then Army active duty 1st Cav 3-82nd Field Artillery and actually went to war against Iraq, never can get those images out of my mind. Made me really respect Vietnam Veterans, Korea, and WW2 who never talk about the war and just dealt with it and still deal with PTSD, Shell Shock, Battle Fatigue, Nightmares from Hell.

The band goes further, to the late 50s called Tommy Fogerty and the Blue Velvets and then turned into Gollywogs in the mid 60s which both bands had same original 4) and then became CCR when Tommy's brother John to over writing and vocals. You always do a great job.

CCR is a band from my youth. I have several vinyl records in my collection! Thank you for your reaction. Let me suggest that you turn your attention to the unique singer from Russia - *Diana* *Ankudinova* . This is the case when the genre, style, musical direction in which she sings is not important, but only her unique, inimitable voice and the way she presents the song itself to us are important!

Had at least a dozen great songs. Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Fortune Son and more. John and the band were on 🔥 Fire doing I put a Spell on You and The Night Time is the Right Time. Meet the singer with the most unique voice (dramatic contralto with polyphonic overtones), reactors call her the goosebump queen. "Together with her tessitura, it identifies her potential voice type as dramatic contralto, the deepest, darkest, and most powerful contralto voice." (Wikipedia about Diana) Full vocal range - 4 octaves. The most famous hit of the king of rock 'n' roll in an unrivaled gorgeous, phenomenal performance by Diana Ankudinova ( 18 y.o.) Can’t Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley / DARK VERSION cover) Please react to Diana Ankudinova ! The number of reactions to Diana exceeded the number of 12 thousand reactions. I am definitely going to be requesting some Bloodgood either in April or June. Check out DEVIN REACTS for the older Classics! Best way to get songs requested is to join Devin's Patreon; I support him because he is one of the few that actually have a Ministry of giving a Christian perspective and Gospel message to every reaction; Devin is reaching many people who do not know JESUS, who came to listen to a reaction, but end up finding Salvation! May is dedicated to my Wife and I's 23rd Anniversary, and giving God the Glory and Praise for all He has done in our lives. I recently joined a Facebook page for Christian Metal, you ought to check it out!

@@dealy9268 God Bless you Brother D Ealy! We will be praying a Hedge of Protection around you and your fellow Police Officers and your families! Thank You for your Service! Everyday God is placing in your path, people who are having the worst day, and God gives you the opportunity to share the Love and Eternal Salvation and Forgiveness of JESUS CHRIST with them. You are on the Front Lines of a daily Spiritual Battlefield protecting and serving and sharing JESUS with all you meet! Praise God for Your Ministry! I wish I could have become a Police Officer after the Marine MP, but no one would hire us because we already had bad habits as MP's, the Police Departments wanted Infantry they could mold and shape, not MP's they had to retrain. God had other plans for me, and that led me to College and a great marriage 23 yrs, service in the Army and later the Pentagon as a DOD Civilian. Continue to be a Spiritual Leader in your home and with your fellow Officers as you share JESUS with the Community. Peace in Christ Brother, James Davis

@@jamesrdavis4642 Thank you for your service Sir. I work for Smithfield PD in NC. We have hired many from the military incuding MP's. There s a program in NC where MP's can get hired and go to Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) while working the streets. They only have to take portions of the class that is not covered in the MP class. However they do need to pass the test everyone has to take. I use christian music of all types to start conversations with my "clients". The county jail is in the city I work for so it's a short time. But then I have that time waiting to see the MO. I pray GOD has used that time to plant a seed.
