Been using Velcro rollers for 20 years could not be without them.

For some reason my description is not allowing me to scroll to the point where I can see when this was posted. If it’s recent or even in the past I hope everything turned out well with your surgery. The surgery itself is not too bad all things considered. But it can knock you on your butt with being a little tired for a while so take that into account and many blessings to you. Thank you for introducing me to Velcro rollers with aluminum interiors. What a concept!

I thought I was the only one who closed my eyes when I did my hair! We have to close them to visualize 😊

Looking gooooood with that big hair! As a Texan I can totally understand the excitement over so much volume. Good luck with your surgery. Take it easy and follow your discharge orders exactly how they say. Be aware that they may tell you not to lift your arms above your head for a few weeks until your pacemaker leads are good and set. You may need to give Mark a few lessons in using those rollers and the pick to get you that volume during recovery. (Wouldn’t THAT make a great video) Girl, take care of yourself. Take your time and come back only whenever you’re ready. We will still be here! ☮️❤️

My hair is like yours. Velcro and hairspray is what does it!

have forever had to do my hair this way. and for 4 decades blown my hair halfway dry with my head turned upside down. my hair is just like yours except my hair is falling out badly so had to grow it very long and wear up all the time now so bald spots don't show. i hate this but have used minoxidil for 25 years and use it every night without fail to keep it at bay. you have to forever use it once you start it! but now I have a unique style with updo, whit hair, pastel clothing or all black, and its the new Me! but this video made me long for normal hair! i look so much better with my hair down. bummer. i also take biotin, prescription minoxidil. and only twice a week do a comb thru. but now my fine straight hair is curly all over and new baby growth all round my face. but...also grow hair in places I don't want hair, haha! catching up on your videos as I've been ill, myself. trying to get my strength back. my prayers are with you and you have had surgery by now. love ya!

I love hearing you talk. I grew up in a small Tennessee town…. Where did you grow up? Love your videos. You are unique in such a funny and positive way. I feel like I’m watching a girlfriend demo stuff!!!😂😂 You should breeze thru pacemaker procedure. My 80something father in law had a pacemaker put in and he’s still going strong at 87… Keep doin’ your thing!

Love the big hair. I've worn it myself since the 60s. Back then hair was a work of art and girls were so pretty. Hair spray, bring it on. Everyone teased their hair and we were encouraged to be stylish and unique. From the early sixties with the Articoch, Bubble Cut, Page Boy, Ponytail to the swinging London mid sixties with the new shining and moving blunt cut started by Vidal Sasoon, or the Brigitte Bardot look sported by the original Beatle girlfriends, everything was fabulous. Today's lazy and unstylish locks leave a lot to be desired. Thanks for stressing to everyone how good "big hair" (we never called it that) can look on anyone.

Don't fret the pacemaker you will feel so much better. And it's easy breezy. You'll get used to it. I'm 2 yrs in and no problems.my hair is fine to. I only get a good set with out rollers arthritis in my hands limits my fingers to brush and dry at the same time. Can't wait to see how these wrk.

WOW your hair has mega-volume! I LOVE IT! I jumped on board the velcro roller train in the early '90's and still use them frequently (yes, my original ones😆). They don't have the fancy metal core and I can see how that would elevate the result (pun intended!). Now I want those ☺️. I have to tell you that I have that exact wide tooth comb you have in that exact color, I have had it also since the '90's, although I no longer use it. I've been using velcro rollers for at least 12 years. I think it's funny they have caught on just now..lol.I have fine hair like you.. a little longer like a bob style and I dry the rollers with a blow dryer like you but I leave them in as long as I can..sometimes 2 hours if I have the time. You're so cute when you discover stuff!

I love those rollers, they’re like air dry “electric rollers”, just lighter and more comfortable. Your hairdo looks beautiful. Don't be afraid, everything is going to be alright. I'm on my 2nd pacemaker. I think of it as my backup which gives me peace of mind. You got this. I'll pray for a speedy recovery.

Love this!I always used to use Velcro rollers and I loved the volume it gave my thin hair but when my hair started thinning I gave them up.But I think I am ready to try them again.A hair stylist suggested that when you roll them,just don't roll so tight and they won't pull your hair.Cant wait to get these and try them.

Lol....just came across your video....I also have extremely fine hair (finer than yours), and have had it long now now for quite a while. In a flash of madness, I made the decision to have a lot of it cut off, to have a kind of bob. Am afraid to look in the mirror! Lol I'm disabled with chronic illnesses/pain, so I look very ill, so hate looking at myself. I love your hair! I have to lie on the settee much of the day, so I'd have one "poofy" side and one flat side if I did this! 😅 Your lovely personality shines through on this.....makes a nice change for someone to not be shouting at the camera! Your quiet voice, and your accent (I'm British), is brilliant! Made me smile.

Does Velcro rollers seem to really work to give your hair volume. So glad that worked for you. I love your haircut does it have a particular style name? I have much thinner hair than you but I think it might work for me. It looks like it has a lot of layers in the back but that doesn’t always work for us in here that’s great that you can pull that off :-)

I found Velcro curlers in dollar tree today, 8 for 1.25. They looked nice, but my hair is too short/thick for them, but I thought of you. Happy Sunday!

I have baby fine healthy silky virgin hair and if I were to use all of the products on my hair that you recommend at the beginning of this video for conditioning shampoo and conditioner and moisturizer and all that I'd never get any volume in my hair, I'd be 6 months of Sundays washing it all out with just shampoo to be able to do anything with it at all. As a child my mom would take me to the beauty shop and have my hair cut in a pixie to be able to do anything with it she would use brush rollers and dippity do and I'd have to sleep in them overnight for school pictures. Now that I'm in my 60's I've discovered that mom was right the short hair cuts were the way to go I have it cut in a modern pixie cut with layers and texture and that's the only thing that works for me.

@@youniquebymelissaover50bea30 Thank you 💕 I loved the last cut I got, it's to cold for it right now but when spring comes I'm going to get it cut like that again, it's the only way I can get any volume in my hair with minimal styling products and effort that looks decent. Your hair is adorable on you but my hair would never do that.

Beautiful hair. I ordered some rollers to try on my baby fine hair. I use Big Sexy hairspray, but my sprayer keeps getting clogged with the sticky spray. How do you keep that from happening on your spray can? Continued prayers for a successful procedure and speedy recovery.

Hi Monica and thank you! You can take the top off and run hot water through it. Then, place it back. I had to do that before💜💜
