Thanks for this great video! I just picked up two of these at a yard sale and I'm eager to try this out. Cheers from the hills of New Jersey.

Hi, Great videos teaching us so much. I have done seething similar with a cheap action cam but I changed the lens for a vari-focal lens with manual focus and zoom so 6-22mm the thread I think are M12 or 1/2inch. keep the videos coming, Thanks

I've got wyze and eufy. I've torn down the eufy and actually replaced the lens with a fpv lens (m12). My use was for replacing a faded lens (as they have a plastic lens from the factory that don't do well in the sunlight, though I think wyze v3 uses glass). But you can get different mm lenses. Pretty neat.

Love to see timelapsing and tissue culture videos so this was a terriffic treat! Even though it might be a different market to the other folks here, i'd recommend trying an ESP32 CAM. a timelapse camera and wifi capable arduino set of GPIOs in one. If you need it to also control and log pumps, solenoid valves, lights etc in the one device that is also doing the timelapse its handy. but does need arduino programming experience.

Thanks for the video. Cool idea. P.S. just moded one today, but to use the web browser version to view requires a $1.50/mo sub (not the end of the world). Just a heads up for those w/o a tablet or Chromebook as you're limited to your phone screen to view as it is an App.

Hoocho the science guy! cool. How about different mushrooms that are edible, what a cool time laps that would be. I am sure you have different types over there.

I wonder if you needed weather proofing if you could roughen up the plastic with sandpaper to key the surface, then use hot glue to seal around the lens. When you needed to readjust the depth of field, just reheat the glue so it softens, wipe it off, and adjust the lens. You'd probably want to redo the glue each time you needed the camera to be water resistant, but it's cheap and fast. All of this assumes hot glue is water proof/resistant - I don't actually know either way.

Woah. Seriously leveling up over there. Do you think there is a way to modify a setup like this to view root systems inoculated with beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae?

This is really great stuff. Congratulations. I haven't previously followed any of your subjects, but immediately subscribed to both channels. One question on your tissue culture stuff - did you adjust your light levels to compensate for the shadowing from your cameras?

Thanks for the content Hoocho. Question, where did you get the material for TC. Im currently getting into tissue colture as well and was curious as to where you sauce the various types of PGR's from? I've found a mob overseas, is there anyone local Australia at all?
