Finish line is in sight! You’ve done the bulk of the work, once the floors are in, everything else will be adding stuff as opposed to ripping anything out. Also if ya finish, what will we all watch?!? lol

Hi both Like your way of dropping the old ceiling , definitely a good idea . Have you decided where you dis board is going for your electrics , if so I’d be looking to get them moved as soon as possible . We would on such a project install the new supply from the meter to a new DB , and if necessary run some temporary supplies for sockets , lights , shower etc . Obviously these will be relocated or removed as the project progresses . But it does remove the problem of existing electrical equipment being in your way , as I say we would consider this standard practice on such an ongoing project like yours . We would also provide a group of socket outlets for subsequent trades to utilise while on site , and of course all protected by earth leakage devices . Again much of this temporary work can be reused at a future point in time anyway. Bless you both and kind regards as always . 😀👍👍👍

Luckily I learnt this off a friend after he seen me take a ceiling down from underneath 😂 the new DB is going about 1m towards the back of the property from where it is now. We haven’t bothered getting a new board yet as we have so much demolition and as you can tell, we love doing things the hard way 🙈😂
