I've always wondered this. He's had them a long time, even had them when him and steve booker were mates as I seen in his "reacting to old (facebook) profile pictures" video on his channel there was a picture a way back and he still had the dreads.

Louis have you seen Casey Neistat's video on how he flies business class all the time? You should watch it because you probably fly more than him. Basically you chose an airline that you want to stick with, then you only fly with that airline. But if you get a certain amount of time up in the air, (or miles can't remember) then you get put in this sort of exclusive group. He only pays for regular place every ticket, and then gets bumped up to basically first class. Well that's how it he does it with his airline.

i'm litterally in the same situation.

Honestly Louis is crazy awesome like I don't think I'd be able to keep traveling non stop like that with barely any breaks! It's an amazing experience though so okay yeah if I had the opportunity I guess I would do it too. Would any of you do this if you had the opportunity? Do you think you'd be able to travel so much? People are different hahaa!

Your hair looks great!! I love that you used extensions, they look soo much smoother that way. t! I did my hair last month and used yarn to wrap it. it was much cheaper, and I had more color choices . Plus I wanted really long locs. I did it by myself so it took about 20 hours all together, but it was a lot of fun and everyone loved them.

Louis if you keep maintaining your locks the way you're doing it now you will be bald in 15-20 years if not earlier! It's really not healthy to keep twisting/crocheting your hair just leave it and the loose hairs will lock up on their own when given enough time

i love that time lapse thing you do with conversations, it makes the vlogs all the more interesting and enjoyable

If I could have any life, It would be this one, the views you get to see, the food you get to eat, your friends, it's just awesome. So jelly.

The dreadlocks look really cool on you...but they also look nasty at the same time.

In response to people in the comment section saying Louis shouldn't get locks because he's white, actually, no, he should be allowed to do as he pleases with his hair. The problem though is when people comment how cute his hair is but then turn around and criticize people of color for their locks, as if their hair isn't more suitable for maintaining the style. Just my two cents anyway . . .

Man i love these old ones! Not to say i don't love the new ones.. just nice to look back, nostalgia haha Proper inspiration for me and my creations, thanks for doing what you do brother, we love it.

George Eyebrowson That may partly also be the reason. But I also know many other people who aren't rastafaris and calls them lock (mainly Caraibbeans and African Americans) and are offended if you call it dreads, but yes the reason being are the negative connotations of the word dreads.

They're actually very clean. You wash it like you would your own hair. That's a common misconception with dreads. You have to take very good care of them so they require a lot of maintenance.

Ahhgg Louis you have such an exciting life!! I bought a top the other day that had a quote on it about adventure and i thought of you as soon as i saw it! I hope i can travel loads when im older!!

I feel like every time Louis gets his dreads cleaned up, he looks SOOO fancy and put together and clean. Lol I'm not saying he usually looks dirty but I feel his face looks more open kind of thing 👌👌👍✋

I'm against white people wearing dreads, for several reasons, but at the end of the day, everybody can do with their hair/body what they want. But AT LEAST, he can speak about the meaning, history, and the culture of dreads. It has in some religions the meaning of feeling closer to god, and in other just so they can feel closer to their culture or to take care of their hair. Louis has many subscribers and a lot of people will think: "Wow, that's so cool and different, I wanna be edgy, too.", and they will get that hairstyle without even having a single clue about its history or etc. Before people come and say: I"t's just a hairstyle", well, congratz, because you're not informed, too. Think about it. (Excusé moi for false language, I'm only 15 and english isn't my native language).

Brah do some research first, i've had dreadlocks before and i'm getting them again, i recommend checking out the channel Lazy Dreads . Dreadlocks are great to have but prepare for millions of stereotypes associated with them. i'm sure you can find all of them in this video's comments

Nothing against silvija, but as someone who had dreads, i really get frustrated with the amount of times he's crochet'd them just in the last year, his dreads are already so close to the roots and you can see the stress on his scalp...and also the ignorance towards dreads in this comment section are unreal

In the UK we don't commonly (if at all, never see it) have cilantro. We get coriander spice in jars from the plant

Coriander and cilantro are the same thing. Just different names for it. Similar to aubergine and eggplant, and zucchini and courgette.

We do have cilantro but we call it coriander, we have bunches of the stuff fresh in supermarkets or dry in tins, or I'm seed form.
