"it's a couple scratches." Shut up, he was in shock and passed out. More than probably 10 layers of his skin came off. This may of looked small, but it wasn't. This stuff can hurt more than all of your injuries. And, he had an allergic reaction to things that HELP him. Stop saying it doesn't hurt much and you've been hurt worse because it's mean.

ellie isnotamazing no they don't. The skin consists of 3 layers, the epidermis, the dermis and the hypodermis. In this situation, we are talking about the epidermis which is the layer of skin that provides a waterproof protection and produces your skin tone. It has 4 to 5 layers of skin, which probably means that Tess is right and about 2 layers of skin came off (by the way, altogether the skin has around 7 layers, thatis including the epidermis, dermis AND hypodermis) :)

I had the same accident as Louis did with my longboard, that feeling when you're losing balance and just know that you're going to fall at that speed is undescribable. I fell on my head and got brain concussion and also lost some skin on my hand and knee. Louis was kind of lucky he fell on the side of his arm. Always wear protection.. I know you might think it looks stupid but it could save your life :)

Louis! It is really awesome that you are still continuing to upload even when hurt! You are an inspiration to all of us youtubers! Get better soon man!

Omg, Luis is honestly the most genuinely nicest person i've ever seen on youtube. I don't like seeing bad things happen to good people. Even though this was a long tine ago, but still. I think she meant that it was okay for him to go into shock because he was in hospital. As someone that has gone into shock multiple times I can say its better to be in hospital when it happens so she was probably just reassuring him that it was okay to go into shock.

Ok so I'm a girl I'm a skater I'm not very good but I enjoy it so as long as you use a SKATEboard then you will be fine and just make sure that your not going very fast and just go at a speed you feel comfortable with.😃

Evin Cinar when ur body gets badly hurt ur body goes into a kind of survival mode so u don't feel pain until ur body stops moving or usually after about 10mins

Damn dude you ate it heavy, a word of advice: next time you get speed wobbs crouch down and lean forward, it's a more stable way to ride and it sets you up to roll rather than slide if you do end up having to take a tumble

I got a concussion and was in hospital for 4 hours. I was only just in shock, also at an age way younger than him.

+sian heap I've had 2 or 3 motorcycle crashes worse than this and got up and went on my way once I fixed my bike up. It hurt, I took a lot of painkillers once I got home, but otherwise I didn't go into shock and was fine. I was surprised he went into shock.

There are a number of things/reasons that can cause someone into shock, not necessarily from pain. It's nothing you can control because its a bodily reaction. It's the same thing as when people get lightheaded/dizzy just from seeing their own blood, which is very common. I think most people would go into shock of that accident.

My boyfriend had a skating accident too... It's dangerous! He had no wounds but tore his muscle away fro. His cartilage in his shoulder. Did it nearly a year ago and had surgery in it this past Friday. I'm his nurse at the moment since he's got one less functional arm than before!
