Creating Custom Drawer Organizers
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In my recent studio tour video ( • Mixed Media Artist Stu... ), I showed how I prefer to make my own drawer organizers instead of buying commercially available solutions because it allows me to maximize my drawer space and create any layout I want within each drawer. In this video, I'm sharing how I create those drawer organizers, including how I plan for my drawers.

Dig the laid back energy here!! art sister love
This is fantastic! Thank you. I’m in awe of your organization and dedication to all your art supplies. The care you have for them is so admirable.
Thanks so much for this step by step process video! Makes me feel like I can do this...😂. Great ideas, and also great way to use up paper and chipboard!
Great idea and an excellent video. I'm tired of trying to fit my supplies into store-bought organizers, this allows me to fit the drawers to the supplies!
Fabulous! Thank you. I have made heavy-duty boxes out of foamcore to store paints, but this is excellent for small items to be neatly stored inside a drawer!
Yes, I did learn something new. I learned that some people have WAAAY more patience than I do.
thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, JOHWEY! after watching (and thoroughly enjoying🤩🤩) your studio tour and being especial captivated by your drawer storage, I truly appreciate you returning with this box tutorial. I am looking forward to using your box plans and designs to FINALLY organize my art supplies. I’ve subscribed and look forward to following you. thank you again and all the very best🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hi Debb! Your comment melted my heart. I'm glad you enjoyed my videos and that I can be of help. Good luck with your drawer organization, and more importantly, have fun with it! ❤
This is a fabulous video. Thank you so much for walking us through the process.
I loved your studio tour as well as this demonstration! I plan to use this to maximize my drawer space going forward.
This is like most perfect and detailed video! Thank you so much ! Can you make a video for art/ architecture students who often have ro make 3d models from basic like tips to use cutter propely without damaging the paper while cutting to how to use glue how to take measurements and tips to make finished models. This might feel silly but honestly this small mistake happens while making models like slight wrong measurements and you realize them after cutting all paper and then you have to make everything again!😭

Wonderful tutorial! Thanks
Wow!❤
hi Johwey, i was watching your studio set up as I am just setting up one of my own. LOVE your organisations. I want to make some of these boxes as I can't find anything that fits my drawers properly. However I am confused by the "chipboard". I think maybe you call things slightly differently to what we do in the UK. So is it a cardboard? It looks stronger than that though. Could you possibly put up a link to something on Amazon in the UK? Thanks so much

It looks like in the UK chipboard is called greyboard, backing board, or bookbinder's board. It's common in art and bookbinding supply stores. Amazon should have it as well. I hope the new terms help! 🙂
Hi there ….. I watched an awesome older video of yours making encaustic paints . Could you tell me where you purchased the paint pigments , I’ve looked everywhere so thought I’d ask you
