Creating a Custom Interior for Your Jeep Wrangler

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I install two unique custom leather interiors in my Jeep Wrangler. I'll take you on a tour of the Katzkin facility and show you how it's made, we'll sit down with one of the designers and get some tip from him and then get them install and share with you the final product. #custominterior #jeepinterior #katzkin
Please be sure to mention TrailRecon if you order seats from Katzkin and they will donate $100 to Team Rubicon for every order.

Hope one day I can have my jeep done. Most of my work for my jeeps has been on the interior as I have a black and turquoise Fear theme going. Your jeeps look great.

    Question about the"cooling" and heating option from katskin, if the JL already had heated "cold weather" seats, did katskin disable that when adding their own heated/cooling elements with their covers? Or does katskin wiring harness tie into jeeps cold weather package somehow? In other words, if ordering a new jeep JL and if also planning to then order katskin cooling/heated elements with their skins, would it make better sense to omit the factory cold weather package if katskin will be bypassing it?

  • @KansasSlim64

    @KansasSlim64

    Whatever they do within the heated seats, you’d still have heated seats. The greatest loss if you dumped the cold weather package in my opinion would be the heated steering wheel. My wife’s Cherokee has it, plus some rentals I’ve had. The heated wheel is the bomb! So be careful what you ask for…

    Does adding the Katzkin guarantee the OEM & DoT level of seat airbag reliability? Since Wranglers still don't have side airbags, the seat airbags are a very critical safety system in these vehicles. My understanding is that OEM seats have a very specific method of sewing the seams for proper force & speed of bag deployment and tested to work properly.
