    That was packed with so much new techniques and tricks that I never knew before. Thank you very much for the detailed class on modeling. Really appreciate the time you take to teach us newbies all these tricks. How much of these modeling can be done in VCarve Pro 9.5 ? Or do I really have to upgrade to Aspire to get all these functionality?

    Everything I did in there pretty much requires Aspire however the class right after that the next video after this class that you just watched shows how to make the same exact watch face in vcarve Pro

    Very well done. I really enjoy your teaching style. I got several things out of the lesson. Key items, how you work with levels an don't change your original components when going to do things like smoothing, baking etc. The rotation methods was pretty cool. Glad I found your channel. How do I know what models you have available for purchase. I noticed that you smoothed the whole model including the dragon - which took out some of the detail in the dragon, like around the eyes and some wing components. If i wanted to get the smoothing on the rough edges, but keep the details in the dragon, would another option have been to only smooth everything other than the dragon? Trying to ensure I understand the concept. New to the idea of making things to sell. I thought if you purchased a model you could not resell the model, but could resell things you make using the model? Based on you stating you couldn't sell the clock with because it used a purchased model was curious if my understanding is flawed? Thanks again for the efforts. Will be sending you an email o purchase this model.

    We will be launching the new website soon, models will be available for sale on the site when it launches... in the mean time some of my past classes announced models for sale... (4th of July, 2A model packs, Fathers Day Projects) instruction on how to order were in the classes. Soon there will be a site to download from. One could turn off the visibility of the dragon and baked the clock without the dragon, smoothed the clock and then if they chose could do a separate smoothing on just the dragon or no smoothing on it. When you buy a model, you can carve the design and sell your carvings. But you can not resell the model file... What I was referring to, is I was selling the clock model but could not include the Dragon model because it is not mine to sell. I am referring to the files, not the carving.

    @@SpindleTV thank you for the clarification - looking forward to your website getting up and running. Saw your part 2 of vcarving the same vectors last night. Well done, even with the buffering - those things happen.

    Hello Laney, regarding the numbers 5 10 15 20 ..... , why not using the "circular copy" tool on the text of number 60 then changing/rotating the content? Very good project and cool clock

  • @SpindleTV

    @SpindleTV

    2 жыл бұрын

    You could do that rotate one number around then go and change the number to the correct number....i just find it much easier to use the method i use especially when it comes to having to rotate 20,25,35,40 ...but it doesn't mean its the only way...both are good options... So do it whichever way is quickest and easiest for you...thank you for asking the question is was a great question and great point.

    Ypu mentioned that you would send a link to the downloadable file in the description. I don't see it. I have noticed that when i watch your videos the SHOW MORE button is never on in the description. Almost all other videos from people it is illustrated fully. Where would I find the file? Also tried working in highest resolution and computer crashed a lot, finally gave up. Thought i had a pretty good computer, but maximum resolution kills it.

  • @SpindleTV

    @SpindleTV

    Max resolution is very CPU heavy so you have to have good memory and a good CPU...the watch face model is a paid item. In the chat there was my email to send a message to then an invoice would be sent and once the invoice is paid the file is emailed to you.. The email address is Laney.shaughnessy@spindletv.com and the model cost is $7.50 USD

To order, email laney.Shaughnessy@spindletv.com and put the subject Clock Face Model and I will send you an invoice. then a download link. again, this comment was 10 months ago, sorry I never replied.
