    Geez, why did the trolls always attack your channel? Don't worry about the people who can't read basic English or a time stamp and just want to be mean. (I mean why would somebody think "create your signature Chili" is the equivalent of "here's a two minute video of chili powder"... If that's what you're looking for, wouldn't you notice that the time stamp is 21 minutes long and just simply think to yourself "Oh, that's not what I'm looking for! instead of being a rude mean troll and put down someone else's hard work, I'll just look for something else that I do want"???) Seriously You make excellent content. Thank you for taking the time to explain things to the rest of us who don't have time to read gourmet cooking books or spend hours online researching ingredients, but want to cook really good food.

    I’ve recently gotten into smoking my chilies as well as fermenting hot sauces from my chilies and drying the left over mash for powders - so many wonderful flavor profiles- we grow 40 some types in a wide range of flavors and heat

    What a waste of my time. The chili powder part doesn't start until 7:00 As if someone learning something as specific as making chili powder needs seven minutes of chili recipe basics.

    So you are saying a different title may have been better? - I often put these videos on a sped up playback speed to preserve my time - I can listen while doing other things and just tune in when I hear something I need to pay attention to - just a thought

    As an opposing viewpoint, it is all really one thing to me. You can't separate the chili powder from the chili, from ingredient selection, from the culture of food, from the history of food. This video could have easily been an hour and a half long. I could also have told you how to make chili powder in a 1 minute short. Neither option appeals to me. I'm sorry that you feel like I've wasted your time, but the medium that we're dealing with here is video, and my show is categorized as entertainment with KZread. Sometimes when I don't want to be entertained, or to take part in the larger conversation, I'll look up a written recipe and scroll right to the actual directions. I'll tag you when I release the cookbook.

    @@SelfServingSkillet You could have started with the Chili Powder recipe, and then went on to flesh out the rest of the making of Chili after, getting the part you promised in the title out of the way, and giving us the option of seeing the rest that we may already know.
