Thanks for the video! Also, if your pillow starts imploding inwards instead of out, just change the number under pressure to a negative instead of positive. So instead of a 3, try a -3. I went with a -10 and mines looks fine.

If anyone else is having a problem with their model "exploding" and then disappearing within the first two frames, turn your pressure down. Mine had to be set to about 0.8 for some reason.

Hi, im a new fan. After I apply subdivision modifier the setting says that a number of points in cache does not match. May i ask the solution pls?

how did you select the center edge loop so fast? I had to select each one by one I know from using maya that i double click on one line edge- it would the select the whole loop but for some reason it doesnt work in blender

Physics bit worked great but I tried to unwrap the mesh beforehand with the aim of being able to place alternative textures/patterns later but it gets lost after the cloth physics is applied 🤔

For me it worked after I enabled self-collision and under "Efector Collection", I put the collection where the object is located, usually it is greyed out and says "Collection" because it still wants you to enter a name

if we want only static position of cushion for placing it on sofa ,dont want animaiton of collision or anything so what should i do ?

@@BlenderVitals I have applied the modifier by going to modifier tab on cloth modifier which made it static pose, thanks for your vidoe 👍

neat Video but it might need some updating. My pillow will not let me edit it after applying modifiers.

Enable proportional editing, toggle connected only on and for it to move symmetrically hold on S, hope this helps ! Good luck on your work!

Splitting the Edge Loop at the end with Ctrl + B is not working. That is bevel for me.

Had the same issue. Spent 2 hours figuring out. Changing the "blending mode" to "linear" worked for me

shift a to create plane, s to scale up, w to subdivide, e to extrude, ctrl r to cut and i think its all u need

''Instructor'' or whatever you are, you say and do all so fast. If it's simple to do, it's supposed to be beginner level, so should be done slower. Just in case you really want to help/teach people.
