I. Love. Your. Tutorials. You’re efficient with the workflow and your explanations are always clear. I’m an advanced beginner (photoshop experience) and I’m loving how easy you make things. Great work!!
The warping raher than just offsetting is a stroke of genius. Really adds to the hand crafted feel.

Yay! I'm so glad you found me - thanks so much for checking everything out, happy you're here!
Hello there, First, I have to thank you for your great tutorials! I enjoy them and love the creative ways you find to teach them to us! Could you please tell me how I could use this cut out on my projects for example on a photo as a title! And how would I be able to get rid of the rest of the page that the word is written on? Thank you again!
Amazing 😉
Thank you (:
Thanks for this tutorial, I will share my result on Instagram
great
Hi Teela! Is it possible to do step by step without the fancy background? I’m trying to recreate with a glitter background image underlay and am having trouble!
This tutorial is so incredibly helpful! Thank you!

Thanks Teela, this was so helpful! Shadow question - does it look more authentic to have the shadow be a dark tint of the colour underneath, ie when the shadow is resting? Or are you keeping them black for simplicity purposes? Keen to hear your thoughts.
@EveryTuesday
4 жыл бұрын
Both ways will give you very similar results, so I opted to use the method that was a little quicker to execute (the black *has* to be set to multiply with a reduced opacity to get that similar look)
My mind is blown
Thank u this was very helpful but u did go a bit fast and I had trouble keeping up sometimes but still great tutorial
Could you please tell me which keyboard you are using as I like the delete button and shift key and return key on my keyboard
okay, I followed along. now how do I remember all of these steps on my own 😫
I love all of your videos but at around 3 minutes, when you talk about the mask mine does not show the dark layer underneath. What am I doing wrong?
I have a question if you don’t mind if I’m trying to create a simple white box with text over it but trying to make the text transparent any guidance would be very much appreciated
@EveryTuesday
4 жыл бұрын
Go to the text's layer, tap the little 'n' and drag the opacity slider to adjust transparency 👍
Hi! I have white text overlapping a white image (it’s going on a black T-shirt). I would like to erase the image around the text but don’t want to do it free hand with the erase tool. Is there a way to do this so that my erased outline around the text is precise all around.
It’s great but how did she get retro and everything else
Hi! I did this tutorial a few weeks ago and it was fantastic! But I just tried it again and for some reason, every time I try to invert the text in the beginning Procreate crashes and when I go back in the text is rasterized. Any tips on how to avoid / fix this issue?

Question: when completing something like this with SO many layers, how do you SHARE on IG or FB? Thanks!
@EveryTuesday
4 жыл бұрын
Layers have nothing to do with your ability to post to social media :) Simply export it as a jpg to use on any social channel - use a square canvas if planning to post on IG 👍
Whoever disliked is very strange Because this is an amazing vid
best
It won’t let me do this it closes the app every time I try to select the light layer after having selected and inverting the letters:( which literally rasterizes everything
My iPad isn't a Pro and it supports pressure settings with the first generation Apple pencil
@EveryTuesday
3 жыл бұрын
Yep! All of these iPads now support pressure sensitivity (changed since the time of this recording): every-tuesday.com/ipads
When I choose select invert, the letters go away and it fills the canvas with pink. And in my layers panel, I just see the word (instead of the italic A to indicate text) only once and no black layer of letters underneath. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

when you select invert make sure fill color is not checked

What iPad are you using? I encountered (when using iPad Air 4) this issue as well. But when I used another iPad 6th generation, I don't have this issue. Probably there is a bug :(

I followed your tutorial with the word Hello. Then I have been trying to follow it with the word Love. When I get to layer 5 the color will not show up on the letters. I can turn of the pink layer above it and see the line. But it won't show up on top of the word. What am I doing wrong. Thank you

Hey, did u figure out with this? Having the same problem.
Thank you very much! That's an awesome tutorial! But I got a little problem at the end - I repeated everything after you but instead of looking cut out my letters look popping out from the paper. I tagged you in Instagram, I wrote 'rentrée', in case you could comment on what I could have done wrong...

Hey! I didn't see it in my tagged images, would be happy to take a look if you'd like to re-tag :) From your explanation, it sounds like your black layer might not be directly below the light layer with the layer mask on it
