I make sweet potato cheesecakes quite often and the way that I have found to keep it from mixing together is to put your pie crust with the cheesecake in it, into the freezer while you're making your sweet potato pie filling. That time allows it to get just stiff enough so that you can spread the sweet potato pie mixture all while keeping them separate. Hope this helps someone.

I only had cream cheese sweet potato pie once. My childhood friends dad was a veteran and loved to bake, and liked to have me taste test his experiments, lol. It was the best thing ever, yes it was the best of both worlds. It was not too sweet and not plain. I ate 3 slices with her dad smiling from ear to ear as he gave me each slice. May he rest in peace. Thanks for making this so i can learn to make this myself.

Try using a graham cracker crust instead of a regular pie crust. I think you’ll really like how it compliments the sweet potato and cheesecake filling.

Just put cream cheese frosting on the pie after it's baked and cooled off. Her husband won't even know the difference, he will love it.

Soooo many youtubers are not putting them in the description box these days, to get more views, which I think cheats their loyal subscribers and makes it hard to try the recipes. I believe that your loyal subscribers are going to watch your videos regardless, if you build a rapport with them, and you don't need to worry about getting the views. But having to watch over and over again just to try recipes is getting old. I have unsubscribed to youtubers for this very reason, so thank you again for putting the recipes in the description box. Donna, this is just a tip: when I make my sweet potato pies, I put my sweet potatoes in the food processor and that makes the texture smooth. If you have one or, a blender would also work. 🥰
