I think cutting them in half and rolling them out was as brilliant as this recipe, even if it didn't stick together, because it did help them to cover the apples a lot better than if you hadn't rolled them. When I try this, I think I'll add some caramel sauce, too, to honor my mother's love of caramel, and, definitely, some extra spices, for us both! I didn't even know that Ghirardelli made a caramel sauce, but now that I do, I must get some! Dude #1 kills me with that intense, naughty look, like he expects to have his hands slapped, for taking a bite! I love ya'll, so much, for sharing your recipes, but most of all, for always sharing that sweet, delicious warmth of love that is unique to us as brothers and sisters in Christ!

This looked like it would be an awesome Christmas morning breakfast treat. The only suggestion I would make that would make it easier to get the rolls off and into the baking dish is this… buy (if you don’t have one already) a “Silpat baking mat”. Spray the mat with butter flavored Pam spray. The buns won’t stick at all. Looked amazing and your husband is a hoot 😅

since you need butter anyway, cover parchments with butter then instead of rolling use the glass baking dish to flatten to size.

I think rolling them out between two pieces of parchment paper would fix the sticking problem, when trying to transfer it into the pan. I'm gonna try that when I make this.😘

Hi Donna, hello to you and your family from Australia 🐨, thank you for sharing your recipes. You have a lot of great food that we cant get here in Australia (unless we get it from an importer and pay a kings randsom for it). Just a little tip for rolling out the cinnamon rolls, use parchment paper underneath and on top before rolling, it works a treat. Cant wait to see what you do next ❤

Even though I am watching what I put in my temple, I enjoy your shows. Ive cut back on white sugar, salt, preservitives, fillers and non organics. I feel so much better. Hi Ms.Donna, I'm a new subbie and I love all your content. I like to call what you call experimenting "Recipe Development" because that is what McCormick's taste testing labs call it , and I'm going to try this but maybe add a thin layer of cream cheese, 1/4 cup mix of blueberries, cranberries, raspberries, raisins, chopped toasted walnuts & pecans all coated with lemon juice and add a dash of nutmeg & allspice. I just want some small bites of surprises thru out the apples.

Hi Ms. Donna! I’m so glad to see y’all have a new video! I hope you’re all well rested after all the church anniversary celebrating! One thing I noticed with the cinnamon rolls dough. The dough didn’t stick to the wax paper. It came right off. Maybe next time you can try having the dough sandwiched between two sheets of wax paper and rolling the dough out that way. Just a thought. Love yaw!!!💚😃✌🏾

I tried this recipe. The thing I did differently was instead of adding extra cinnamon I spread caramel on the cinnamon rolls and sprinkled sea salt. After the rolls were done I drizzled the icing over the top.

Hello, Just a little tip. The easiest way to roll those things out without your paper sliding all over is to lightly wet your counter. Then put a piece of wax paper down and proceed. When you're done you can then flip the rolls into the pan using the bottom sheet. They should come off easier than they did with the silicone mat. Time saver. 👌

Love your presentations on the videos ! 💗 Hubby 's like a lil' kiddo tasting your yummy 😋 creations . I worked in food service and it's unreal how young ones and some adults do not know about cleaning canned goods top to bottom and hands too.... You're a great teacher Now I know how to use those cinnamon rolls for quick apple 🍎 pie . Never too old to learn new tricks 😊👍

What a treat. It’s easier to cut the cinnamon rolls when they’re cold. Also flouring the knife before cutting makes easier. Don’t have to cut them all the way through to lay them flat.
