An amazing refurbishing of such a tool. I had no idea what it was or how to use it. But now I know and it could be a very useful tool to have if you own chainsaws or chain pruners. Thumbs Up!

They are for breaking and reassemble chain saw chains. I have a pair just like for that reason. Great job on restoration.

Beautiful work! That's a cool tool I've never seen before. How do you keep from constantly having to retighten the Chicago screws? I don't have any experience with them.

They stay tight on their own, in my experience. A little thread locker would be insurance.

Fun restoration, my initial guess was; some sort of weird riveting tool, but I and no idea what for and was doubting myself. My second guess was some sort of weird welding clamp.

Like attention to detail, good restoration. I think it is used for some type of flairing tool.or spreading apart end of rivets for compressing for tight fit.just saying never seen one before.great video.keep it up 😎😎😎👍👍👍

These are your standard nipple clamps you put them on and then connect a car battery up to the part that sticks out from the pliers. Good cheap fun and a super thrilling time!
