the eco home is my fav…
a bridge house sound like fun!
Thanks for your genuine commentating! Interesting BnBs to be sure!
When the Hubs and I went to Scotland we stayed in a boat in Inverness and a decked out camp trailer on the island of Kerrera. The camp trailer was amazing. So romantic. I always think about going back.
Need to make sure I visit at least one of these places in my lifetime
My fave is the Magic School Bus, so cute and what a view!!
When we visited Scotland, we stayed a few nights in a wee Airbnb cabin on Islay. Nothing fancy but the views were stunning. We stayed in an old hunting lodge in the Cairngorms, an apartment in Oban, and a few other houses with super nice hosts. B&B's are definitely the way to go in Scotland!
Lovely places for a Yank to quarantine in for a fortnight!
Erin this video rang my bell. 😂. I love all things tiny house, vintage trailer, and outdoors. These Air BnB's are awesome.
Any of these would be fine with me. Just hope to visit Scotland sometime in the future. Thanks for always showing beautiful Scotland!
I have spent my holidays in infinite variations of yer grannie's hielan hame, with a door in the centre, one room either side, and stairs leading up to one more room either side and gabled windows half in the wall and half in the roof. And kitchen and bathroom built on the back. I imagine Scottish children drawing these, with a mountain behind.
£900 a night is like a luxury hotel suite so not a bad price for a whole castle. And it sleeps 14, which makes it only about £65 per person. A woman named Kristie Wolfe has some unique ones in America including a forest fire lookout tower (search Crystal Peak Lookout) and a giant potato (Big Idaho Potato Hotel).
Weird and wonderful indeed! This was very interesting! Would love to stay in the airship, that's probably my favorite. Although the tree house is a close second. Enjoyed this! Also, hope you get better soon! And thanks for sharing Erin!
Making a trip to Scotland next year and the bridge house definitely got put on the list! Thank you for making this one!
Going to Dublin 🇮🇪 at the end of the month but if I were taking a holiday in Scotland I’d stay in the bridge castle 🏰. thank you 🙏🏻 for all the responses to my daft comments over the last couple of years. Unbelievably kind of you 🤘take care
Dairsie Castle for sure. I've always loved castles, and if I ever did go to an AirBnB, Dairsie would probably be my first pick.
Was a guest at Orchardton House in 1990. Had lots of rooms ( I was offered on with just bunk-beds). On the Suth-West coast of Scotland, short walk to the shore of Solway. Comfy and great company !
So I’ll take a few nights in the castle. And I’m expecting ghosts. The bridge house looks cool as well.
This is a great video! Thank you so much!!
Would love to see the rustic ones! Airbnb should sponsor you already 🤍

Haha if only!
Hi just came across your air B&B show. We stayed on the Airship a couple of years ago as part of my partners 60th celebration. So my advice is don't think about it just book it, you won't regret it. You arenin the middle of nowhere so take all you need with you. Wood for the burner is supplied
This was such an awesome video Erin. Such a great idea for a video. This has to become a series. You should do the worst places to stay in Scotland. Great video!
Fun looking places to stay, but ill bring me tent if you dont mind :-)
Oh man, the 3 that stood out to me are the castle(of course), the bridge and the tree house. Absolutely stunning places. Thank you Erin for sharing with us.
I'd love to spend a birthday weekend at the Forbes Castle in Aberdeenshire. Really enjoyed this video Erin. Thank you.
I am loving this! I hardly ever book or even look for places like these. I definitely need to look into that hobbit house. Such lil beauty! I've been missing Scotland something fierce...Scotland...you have my 💙.
Great insight into some of the unique Airbnb's of Scotland. Some pretty cool options! Thanks for the research and insight. I could listen to you blether about anything all day long - you're a Gem! I can't wait to get back - Cheers from Canada
Trying to learn Scottish accent through your videos. Near the start you say “fairly regularly” its SUCH a tongue twister I can’t say it 😂
Amazing channel dear Erin
really good video Erin x loved all the places…gonna look into booking one of these😊 its nice to see you daughter lol
I lived in Scotland for a year but that was a few years ago (and English is not my first language). I was like "What the hell are llamas and check-ins?" before I saw the picture of the chickens! Anyways all of these make me want to travel again sooo much!
I’m just back from a booking.com flat in Lossiemouth to visit my auntie.I went with my sister and parents and it was only £50 a night. Let’s say it was basic and my parents kept saying “ this just like my student flat from the early 90s”. We woke up one morning to the upstairs neighbour shouting at us because the plumbing was shaking her flat! When we booked we knew what we were getting because it was the only place available.
Just returned to the US, spent July there, it was HOT. Was wanting rain. The hobbit house looks amazing. Need to go the route of Airbnb next visit.
My wife and I booked Mackermore Castle in Newton Stewart through AirBnb. It was awesome
I so need to check more quirky Scottish places out, thanks for the inspo xxx

The bridge house and the hobbit one are definitely a must
Wow those are so freaking cool! Hard to pick a fav. Maybe the bridge house. The architecture on that place is brilliant. Aww those llamas look like they're smiling. Hmm I wonder if I can find me an Airbnb in a lighthouse? If so, my bags are packed
I would love to stay in the lifeboat, yes please. But also the Princess in me really wants to stay in that castle. Let's gets some KZreadrs together and split the cost hehe
I am watching this at 1am. It's 28c outside right now. JS
The first one had me thinking you were taking the piss, but I genuinely liked the others. The Secluded AirShip is my fav tho.

First one was potentially my fave!
Erin, thank you for taking us on a virtual tour of some of the more creative Airbnbs. They are very unique and I'l love to stay in a couple of them. I'm sure that you haven't been able to visit all of them, but just showing photos of the places gives ideas of what each has. I don't know if you've done one yet, but for us American cousins could you let us know what kind of fast food and sit down restaurants are around Glasgow and Edinburgh? You're still a lovely lassie and I bet you would look good dressed in heritage Highland clothing. Keep yourself away from nasty colds and any covids you have hanging around. Hugs!
If the wee bridge hoosie isnt haunted, I want my money back

Lol 😅 few knocking sounds will make it for you ? 😬😂
Yes please, do more on the Air BnB Maybe cover some in the cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow. Also more unusual ones like the converted bus etc Out of the few vlogs I've now seen from you this one is the best. Yes I've subscribed 👍😎

Thank you!
Was supposed to visit again in 2020, but Covid squashed it. Dying to visit the fam in Cumnock/Muirkirk, but I have to wait for the US to come off the “Amber” list. (Although a quarantine for some extra days in Scotland don’t sound bad at all. It’ll just cut down on holiday time, lol). Been wanting to hike Cairn Table…

Amber Higgins BeautyCreep Travel Agency with travel agent Erin. The Railway box didn't look too small; I could stay in a place smaller than that. The Hobbit one is interesting. I seen homes online that were Hobbit style. plenty of Lord of the Ring fans out there. The Bus ones are part of a trend to convert buses and airplanes into homes and other kinda of living spaces. The one named Magic Bus is named after the Who song Magic Bus. All ingesting places. Though with lockdown ending in some places around the world Airbnb are going up do to the demand of people wanting to travel. Scenes all those Airbnb places are remote with not much around there a lesser chance one will get covid. 😁 That should be a selling point. Come to the middle of nowhere in Scotland and cut your chances of catching covid in half. 🤔, Fun video. Thanks for sharing.

or the magic bus from into the wild :D
i wanna stay at Bilbos place for a time
Here in the U.S., lacking air conditioning, I'd use a "box fan" or a "window fan"... in a window blowing outwards, with other windows in the flat open... to expel warm air and draw in cold air during periods when the outside air is colder. I can't find much of evidence of any normal retailer in the UK selling these types of fans, at least as I know them here. Generally you'd want one that conforms well to the shape and size of the window and uses as much surface area as possible to move more air. As of now this listing shows a couple examples of window fans, the ones where 2 9 inch fans are side-by-side. I'd personally prefer box fans that use a single 20 inch (50cm) blade. www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1313&_nkw=window+fan&_sacat=0
My partner and I are planning on going to Scotland for our honeymoon, this gave me some ideas on places to stay! Thanks! Also do more videos on this subject plz!
your accent is sosososo cute.... Just like hearing a Japanese speaking English fluently
i love you
Had a reservation booked for the airship for next year, they canceled it. I think they're no longer renting it out??
I love your Scottish accent and you are so beautiful too. You are proper Scottish. Can I ask you about watches in Scotland mainly Oban and the Iyl of Mull we're I go every year. I am a fan off freindy witches but scared off the dark one's lol. I have just subscribed to your amazing channel. That you. Dobspato Newcastle Upon Tyne England. 😘👍
I would think Erin was couch surfing, but looks more like "fart sack surfing". Hope you cold goes away and you could enjoy some of the weekend. Fun looking places to stay, for sure.
First comment Erin 💐 💐
👍🏼
Well, there won’t be any airbnbs left in Scotland after October 1, 2023. They are being banned by the SNP. Just expensive hotels now.
You are more beauty than creep, simply:)
I'd love to stay in a castle, but who would cook for me? They all look fun, and that bothy is really cute! Great video and subject matter Erin! Sorry you're so hot there. Even here in the mountains at 6500 ft above sea level it's hotter than Hades! My border collie has been laying under the swamp cooler all day! Since you love to read, have you read anything by Swedish author Henning Mankle?
I'm only have way through and Im gonna greet lol £900 a night in a castle.... I want that!!!!!!
MAMASITA QUE HERMOSA ESTAS BEAUTIFUL . HY FROM MEXICO
