We are people that welcome everyone and will forever welcome everyone with open arms. Ur videos have been amazing. U’ve showed how beautiful Morocco is. However I wish u visited even more places like for example Ouarzazate that have natural beauty. Again I really hope u enjoyed ur trip and visit Morocco in the future. Keep up with ur amazing videos. the soup called Harira, its is the number 1 traditional Moroccan soup. it is a solid soup that usually breaks the fast during the month of Ramadan. it is served with lemon and baguette official. the incident with that gentleman was because you filmed that woman, that is sometimes still a sensitive issue. it wasn't about him. moreover Marrakesh is like Los Angeles of America. it has become a mix of anything and everything. As a Moroccan, I don't often visit Marrakech. I have seen nicer places in Morocco.

Thanks so much 🇲🇦❤️
Thanks for posting this! We’re visiting Morocco in April & there was lots of good info on the square. I was really enjoying the video until your encounter with the candy lady who didn’t want you to take pictures of her. Although you’re in a touristic area overall, during that interaction you are in her personal space & recording her and her food cart. She has every right to not want her picture taken, and as a visitor to her country.. I feel it would have been best to respect her wishes & just put the camera down for a second. You said yourself that she was just in an argument & obviously didn’t want to be on camera in that moment. The guy that was behind her who started saying no pictures, was only defending the old lady’s wishes. He didn’t get aggressive or disrespectful with you at all, still calling you “brother” and simply saying no pictures. Yet, you responded by asking him why he’s there if he doesnt want his picture taken, and telling him to go home. That’s foul bro. For you guys to respond in that way was wrong. Your entire energy was off in that encounter. Saying that they should simply be grateful to even have tourists is an extremely entitled take. It’s not people like him who give Morocco a bad name.. it’s a response like that from you guys, that give tourists a bad name. You’re not entitled to record any & everyone you come into contact with just because it’s a “touristy area”. This is their home, where they live everyday & try to make a living.. they owe you absolutely nothing. If it’s too much for you to simply put your camera down, then it’s YOU that needs to go home champ.

The pastry lady had no issue with them filming. The restaurant promoter jumped into the frame and covered his own face … then started complaining about not to get filmed. It’s unfortunately a common behavior in Morocco for some strange reason. He had no reason to do this… I agree with Chris and Gladys it kind of ruined their vibe for the evening.

Your videos are amazing and authentic. As a French and Morrocan woman, I am really proud to see that you talk to locals and smile to all. There is good and bad people in any country but you focus on the good, that is the most important 🙂 Morocco is a very touristic country and the most popular touristic cities or famous places are sometimes a little bit oppressive. So, if you will go a second time in Morocco in the future, I recommand you to visit the Middle Atlas, in particular these cities which are more small but very awesome : Meknès, Ifrane, Khenifra, Beni Mellal. Keep enjoy and smile Chris, wish you the best 👍

The soup is called the traditional Moroccan harira, and it is a necessary soup in Ramadan due to its rich ingredients and it prepared also in the winter because it helps the body to resist the cold.

wow...an interesting story in morocco,..my friend..
Good morning Chris . Thx for the videos. I learned from a friend of mine who has been visiting Morocco for years that many street workers who work in tourism work under great pressure from shop owners to attract customers. So you find them running after the customer everywhere to earn a living. Their wages are taken from the shop owners at a low rate in exchange for bringing in a large number, conditional on the number of customers. I understand the situation and I will know how to deal with them when I visit Morocco and Tunisia.
Lovely place 💞
