In this one we set out down in Port Fourchon Louisiana to go offshore fishing for red snapper in the gulf. With our intended target being red snapper on the rigs, the fishing turned out to be a little slower with many of the fish being undersized and not able to be kept. While bouncing around oil rigs in search of big snapper, we came across a grass mat offshore that was holding a school of mahi mahi that were fired up and hitting everything we threw at them. At first the school were smaller, but it didnt take long for the bigger bull mahi to show up! It turned into a crazy day offshore fishing in Louisiana!
