Love the b0! I tune my sub zero low note on my solo record to B0 to have a distress feeling love the chaos haha. Sweet jams! Also I find the Duncan distortion works pretty good on low notes never tried a coil spilt may have to haha

Sup Gary! Can you tell me please what gauge do you use on the 7th string for b0? Im planning to get myself 28" conversion neck for my lovely strat from a local luthier

I used a 100 gauge string. I got one with a guitar ball end in the Fender Bass VI string set.

That sounds like one very angry doom tractor. Have you tried the dropped-octave thing with A? Also, not quite the same, but kinda why I love using low octave pedals for big filthy riffs.

Yeah I have used pitch drop effects as well. But wanted to try see how low could go on my 7 string. Was a fun experiment
25 frets? That's different!

Yeah custom built conversion neck and the luthier made it 25 frets

Absolutely disgusting. I'm a 6 string bari guy but this is such a cool way to play a 7 string if you're used to 6's

Yeah exactly. 6 string low tuning, with an extra low 7th string.
