In today's video, we'll talk about cool ways to build on the standard freeze frame effect. We'll take it a few steps further and isolate more parts of our scene and then we'll add some easy after effects smooth motion with blur to make all of our freeze frame parts assemble and fall into place seamlessly! Enjoy!

Hope you enjoy! Side note - You can do this easily in adobe premiere as well. Just mask and stack up the layers like I show in this tut but for animating the parts - use the transform effect and set shutter angle to 180. Building out my background soon and sound proofing studio excited for that, let me know what you think of the new video format!

I did it! Learned so much, thank-you. The hardest part was getting started. I distracted myself five times with food and other videos before starting.

Can I please get your opinion on something? I've seen so many people rave about how amazing the Sony G master 24mm wide angle lens is, but I don't recall seeing anyone talk about the G master 35mm. And I have a feeling a 35mm is going to work better for my needs. I just got my A7IV and want to get a really good lens, but it's going to be my only really good lens for the time being so I want to make sure it's going to be versatile enough for what I need. I get occasional paid gigs doing birthday parties, family photos, etc. but I don't go searching for jobs so it's pretty rare. My main need is to start filming music videos for my own music. Can I get away with using the 24mm to do all my performance shots and b roll for rap music videos? Or am I right that a 35mm would do way better? And have you heard anything on the 35mm G master? It's just as expensive as the 24mm, so I'm hoping it is just as good. Thanks!

Get a 24-70, Sigma and Tamron make high quality versions that are a good price compared to the GM and hard to notice a difference in picture quality unless you're pixel peeping. If you can only buy one good lens get something that will be versatile and cover a wide range of situations. If you're not a full time professional it doesn't really makes sense to splurge on a GM lens IMO. I also have a 20mm G 1.8 and I end up using the Tamron 28-75 90% of the time. 24 or 35mm won't be great for portraits/family photos. 50mm or more makes the face look less distorted and you can get a lot better background separation.
