When i go to mask, from the start there is no black area showing that it will be removed from the clean plate, and then does not remove it when played back after steps are followed. Any help?

Have you got all layers hidden except the clean plate?

@@camicees only flip layer is hidden. It masks out properly if i only have one layer, but when i do the same process with three layers in the project it doesn't work.

@@lensmaticmedia so hide all except the clean plate layer that way when you mask it you see a hole. Then you can use content aware
