3:51 I have a feeling they boosted their sale price or something, there's far more capable assets for VASTLY cheaper. That 500 dollar price point just feels insane.

Rayfire looks like it's a lot better for a lot less (than the boosted price)

I’m also going to try super text mesh and compare it with text animator. There are also some animation packs which are cool for my use-case going to grab them too.

:-D I would definitely have bought Asset Inventory 2, except that I'd already gotten a free upgrade for having made a recent purchase of the original asset. I notice that you bought it yourself. Too much of a gimme to suggest people to buy it?

Super text mesh is better than text animator for Unity? Or just comparable?

4:05 I don't know how valid the rumors are, but I've heard it said many times that unity will prune lower star reviews to make everything look better on the asset store. So, maybe they did a five star to keep from having their review deleted?

For the UFE - yes, there was a better deal during the very first lightning discounts. You literally had 1 second to grab the item you want (despite 4-5 getting the discount at the same time) at a 90% discount. At that time UFE source with all possible additions was included. Those lightning sales were hard but glad I didn't sleep to get them 'cuz you only got true 90% off of assets only 1 other time. You had 90% in the first 1 second, 80% in first 5mins, 70% in first 20 mins and so on until it got to 50% off. The second time they did it based on sales rather than time - you got 90% off for the first 20 ppl who bought the asset, 80% for the first 200 and so on. In the sales after the max discount became 80% and later it became 70% where it still is at today. It's not bad, but 90% was insane so I definitely made the right choice by not passing up on them back then
