Important note: my sister had a bed full of plushies as a kid and a teen, one of which was a very large care bear. The teddies were on the far side of the bed where her bed was against the wall. When i was a teen, i was woken up at about 1am by my sister going to the bathroom and lying there an evil genius idea came to me: i crept into her room, moved the giant care bear to the corner of the room you couldnt see from the bed... and got into its spot on the bed. By the time she came out of the bathroom i was having second thoughts, but it was too late! So i waited until she was settled and said her name in a quiet voice, contrary to my original intent aiming to scare her as little as possible. The fact that the monster was on the far side of the bed meant it/me had been waiting stealthily while she climbed into her bed, so she still freaked out, and ive been apologizing whenever its mentioned for many years now. It was a very effective prank!

I had some friends that were waiting at our buddy's house to get home and turned EVERYTHING upside down and put whatever they could.o. the ceiling.

One time, a bunch of my friends and myself were hanging out and one other friend was showing up late. We had just finished eating dinner when he said he was on his way, so we decided to mess with him. We cleaned up quickly and everyone hid except the guy who actually lived at that apartment. He arrives, and the guy who lived there said everyone had left but he was willing to play some Xbox with him. After a minute or so, someone comes out of a room with his shirt off for some reason. Late arrival friend starts getting suspicious. Two more come from the same room but with their shirts on. Friend checks the room for more, and the first guy runs over to another friend’s apartment next door. Late arrival is now kinda panicking, he goes down to ask where the guy went but the friend who lived there says he isn’t there, and when late arrival asks who’s behind the door, it’s his girlfriend. Late arrival comes back to the first apartment and at this point I come out of a different room with my boyfriend, who also lived there. Next door friend and his girlfriend come back a minute later with the first guy and late arrival finally sits down on the floor and has a mental breakdown. We still joke about it but we’re not doing that to him again.
