Crashed !! Himalayan 450 | Offroad review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

#crashed my new #himalayan450 while doing #offroading review.
I took my bike to Yansh Motopark to do the offroad performance review of my new Himalayan 450, & ended up crashing my bike on a jump.
Bike took some damage & I also hurt my wrist , but now both of us are recovering & will be riding soon.
The till before the crash performed exceptionally & I have no complaints with it.
Repair costs video coming up next.

    Off roading is not everyone's cup of tea! The way you handled the bike shows that you never had proper training! Better to get used to the new bike first. Remember getting damaged parts replacement will take time for newly launched bikes.

    Hello. You are right that I am not a trained offroader but that wasn’t the issue. I took the jump from the wrong direction. Yes spares are a concern. Still waiting on mine. 😀

    Hey mate, your saddling and clutch game could use a bit of TLC. Ditch the touring jacket and gloves and opt for something like Alpinestars' Bionic Jacket along with some simple textile/Kevlar breathable Dual Sport gloves. Your current gear seems a tad hefty, almost like it's auditioning for a weightlifting contest, and it's seriously cramping your style in the saddle. You know, that dynamism in shifting weight is key for nailing those gravity-defying jumps - just a heads-up. And, pal, if you're planning some off-roading escapades, it might be wise to turn your bike into a fortress with supports, braces, and guards. Let's face it, crashes are part of the off-road experience, almost like a mandatory initiation ritual. Oh, and about those bike damages? Let's just say a bit more practice wouldn't hurt. After all, prevention is cheaper than a repair bill, right? Cheers!!!

    Also, getting the right tires would really go a long way in such offroading escapades. Checkout the tyres that @ARiemann1 uses. They are road worthy enough and excellent for Offroad too. Edit: I just read in one of your comments that you are planning to change them after these wear out. But, honestly I will suggest sell/or give away these tyres second hand to someone and get some good pairs since they are the only point of contact with the ground, they make one of the biggest handling characteristics changes to the bike, including the ability to put down the power. Especially in Offroading.

    Given how cool the rear brake on this bike is, it would be super fun ti drift offroad with abs off!!!! I can only imagine and wait.

    Ohh, not at all true. You just need to learn Offroading and be confident with heavier bikes. Checkout some proper offroader's review about the Himalayan. It's actually the best in it's class. Unless u go for a dirt bike.

    @@hemangkumawat907 Hello. Yes the Himalayan 450 is very capable. I have done Kaza & Zanskar on it. I think what @lovetocrack3443 meant was that it is too heavy for such tight tracks with high jumps & I do not think that he is wrong.

  • @hemangkumawat907

    @hemangkumawat907

    @@saintrider87 ohhh, okay ya. That interpretation is fair enough. But, decent jumps on flowy trails is something that the new Himalayan can eat for breakfast. And so, it can definitely do a lot of proper Offroad and jumps. Maybe not what's here unless you are very experienced. It's maybe kind of like the T7 in that regard. Really capable in very capable rider's hands. And still very capable with amateurs but, can be intimidating for intermediates to try out such stuff on a rather heavy bike. I still haven't found good videos as to how it compares against DRZ-400 or even T7. Would be interesting to see it's capabilities in very capable rider's hands. (I understand it can't be compared directly, but might help paint a better picture of it's capacities. )
