    Hello there. I would say one of the top things is Organization. Try to make as much room and the ability to organize their things. Space is King. Also, if there is a place they can get ready and not disturb others that are sleeping would be a huge plus. Hope that helps. Thanks so much for the comment and for watching.😊

    @@valenciaflyerI am sure I will have many more questions. My training starts the end of November. Do commuters get to park for free at the airport in their home airport? My airline has a satellite base in the airport near where I reside.

    I would like to turn my home into a crashpad. If I have a 3 bedroom home with 3 beds am I only allowed 3 individuals access to my home? Or can I have as many people as possible as long as it works with everyones schedule?

    Hello there. In my opinion, it might be possible to put two people to a room if there’s enough space for two beds and dressers in each room. Making it comfortable is a top priority. Space and organization are very important. Hope that is helpful. Thanks so much for the comment And for watching. Take care.😁

    Hello there. So sorry for the delay in response. Hope you’re doing well and you had a great holiday. I think the first thing I would do is research other crash pads in the area. Maybe even visit a few of them if possible. The best ones are the ones that have the flight attendant in mind. Not just bodies that come and go. If he has a clean and thoughtful place, then it will go far. Hope this helps. Happy new year. 🙂

    Can a flight attendant have the air lines pay for their hotel room

  • @valenciaflyer

    Hi there. They will only pay it when you’re on a job rotation during one of your layovers. Otherwise it’s up to you. Thanks for the question. 😄

    QUESTION: How much of your commute is a tax write-off if you don't live in-base? (Bed, Food, shuttle, etc)

    Hey there Michael. Hope you’re well. Thanks for the question. Honestly, at this point, I’m not quite sure since I will be doing my taxes as a flight attendant for the very first time in the coming months. I will definitely let you know and probably create an episode on all of that. Until then, thanks again for watching and subscribing. Take care. 😁

  • @valenciaflyer

    I wish!! But honestly that’s not their business model. Some airports have hotels inside them but for us FAs the best we can hope for is a lounge that is provided by our company. 🙂

    Do you need credit check to get one ?

  • @valenciaflyer

    @valenciaflyer

    8 ай бұрын

    So far I have not encountered anyone that requires a credit check. You do have to be an active flight attendant though. Therefore, they might ask you for your ID as a flight attendant. But I think that would be the most that they need to verify you. Thanks for the question, and thanks for watching and subscribing. Have a wonderful evening.

    Can I anybody get crash pad like a ramp worker for the airline ?

  • @valenciaflyer

    @valenciaflyer

    4 ай бұрын

    Good morning. That’s a great question. From my understanding it’s mostly reserved for flight attendants. Ramp workers typically live in the same city that they work. Therefore, I don’t think they would be accepted. Crash pads are set up for people who do not live in that city that they are based in. That way they have a place to crash For the night when waiting for their next rotation. Especially during on-call reserve days. Thanks again for the question, hope you enjoy the content. Have a wonderful weekend. 😀

    QUESTION: is crash-pad expense a tax write-off?

  • @valenciaflyer

    @valenciaflyer

    7 ай бұрын

    Hello again. I would imagine that a crash pad is a write off. As long as you have a receipt to show your payments. Don’t quote me on that yet, but I imagine it would be.

    How many times a month one person stays there?

  • @valenciaflyer

    @valenciaflyer

    4 ай бұрын

    That would depend on your arrangement with the owner. The typical is 6 nights, 12 nights or 30 nights a month. All with different price points. The price is not drastically different between 6 and 30 so shop around. Hope it helps. Thanks for the question. 😃
