The reality is that there is so much to do in class that you barely have time to look on the Internet for any study guys anyway. So it’s best to use your time to focus on Instruction from your instructors. Have a wonderful day. We’ll talk soon. 😁

It is very helpful for people who is on their way for attending a flight attendant training. I had worked for an Asian carrier for 19 years before I laid off at the beginning of covid pandemic. I went for my current airline training while I was attending a trade school. Luckily my training was from 4 pm to midnight so I was able to continually attend my trade school and flight attendant training. It was tough so I missed the fun part of my training. Your presentation remind my happy time during my training,

    Can you help us with a budget of food cost estimate and how much would you suggest you bring for the training? Where does one do laundry (does hotel provide that)? How many luggage’s of clothes should we pack, an we pack a carry on of snacks to hold up our pantry? I appreciate all this info. I m a study alone person and am social but as you said you are here for a job and to pass and that’s my main focus. Being professional and sticking to my objective in this brand new career path. 🙏🏼✈️

    Hi there. If you’re planning to not bring food, I would say expect to pay between 15 and $20 per meal. If you do bring food that would be a good idea but depending on the hotel that you’re going to be put in depends on whether you will have a refrigerator to store the food. I would only pack one luggage full of clothing, since you’ll be wearing a uniform for most of the training. I wouldn’t go too crazy on what you take as long as it’s comfortable and you have the essentials. I wish you all the best during training. Let me know how it goes. Take care. 😄

    @@valenciaflyer Thanknyou Valencia. I was thinking of taking granola box and nuts or cereal. Dry goods that may last. I’ll be in Endeavor Air but still no clue if we will be using uniform for training and/or just formal clothes. Do the hotels allow trainees to do laundry on premise or is that charged ? I will certainly take your advice and pack 1/ casual-formal - 1/ uniform space.

    That's is funny that you mentioned the airport codes. When I went through training, on day one we had to fill in all the airport codes the airline flew into. Wouldn't you still need to have knowledge of that today?

  • @valenciaflyer

    @valenciaflyer

    4 ай бұрын

    Hi there. Great question. Cause of technology you have quick access to all airport codes on your devices. Therefore it is no longer part of training to be tested on airport codes. At least with my airline. Overtime you’ll learn them during training and in the job anyway. Thanks for the question and for watching and subscribing! Have a great day. 😃

    Hi, thank you very much for the video! My daughter is thinking about a training for flight attendant. She will be graduating HS in a month. I was wondering where can we start? We live in the state of Kentucky. But I have no idea of how to guide her. Once again, thank you for your time. God bless you.

    Hi there. Thanks for the question. So first thing is that most airlines require you to be 21 because of the serving of alcohol. So know that up front. But she can still be hired at an airline perhaps at the gate agent level or ticketing then move to in flight once she comes of age. She will increase her seniority at the same time so that will help when she becomes a flight attendant. Another thought: How about becoming a pilot? Great money, great benefits and that she can start now since it takes a bit of time to get there. Just a thought. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and subscribing! All the best to you guys. 😃

    Hey there, Andy. This all depends on your airline. Furthermore, it also depends on what training curriculum they have. They are always updating their curriculum to keep with the times. As far as waving your medical insurance, yes, I believe you can do that. I personally don’t have my insurance through my airline. But again check the airline you’re going for for more information. Hope that helps a little. Thanks so much.

    Are there any books that you would recommend to get acquainted with the 13 types of aircraft your airline trains on? I am not looking for question tests or any specific answers. I want aircraft familiarity now that I have the luxury of time on my side and can dive into simple things, like doors and jumpseat location of each aircraft type, without rushing it during training. Thank you!
