    Hi Rex, not to be pedantic but was it not oversteering into the armco, lol 😝, if it was under steering into the corner it wudda pushed on past the armco outta the corner . Great video Rex, i really enjoyed this video, some nice tips in there. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧

    I'd prefer a well designed 2-wheel drive anyday, just because they compliment your driving skills when you drive them well. In racing, 2-wheel drive was the "lower" class, while it took more skills to drive them fast around the track, and boy have i seen some experts! But that was long ago (in buggy racing), and 2-wheel drive has sort of gone extinct. The M-08 looks like a great chassis and i'm looking forward to the build, mods and set-up! Loved the end of the video, looks like it's a tough chassis aswell ;-) Thanks for sharing my friend!

    Great video that M-08 looks like a great kit unfortunately there are no tracks around here or you might not get me to leave lol. Bob and I talked about the dreams of starting our own track but the cost would be more that we could afford but it's fun to talk about and dream lol. Hope you and your family have a great New year and Christmas.

    Hi Rex, hope your keeping well and Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. That’s a good technical explanation of the M-08 chassis, it’s nice to see that you’ve been able to use this great chassis to learn the characteristics of a pro chassis, and how the changes in camber, toe, roll bars and suspension all contribute to the driving experience, but I suppose, more importantly, you’ve been able to learn that the control f the transmitter functions is the main key to enjoyable racing. Honing your skills. Take care keep well 😉😊😉

    @@rexrcs I do indeed have aa pretty sweet place to run it, an outdoor tennis court. The car handles extremely well for the most part but it hooks coming out of a turn when getting on the power. A lot of it is as you mentioned, abrupt inputs but I am thinking it needs either sway bars F/R, higher diff fluid or both. The on and off power steering is impressive, just steering under acceleration will bite me sometimes. Also like you said, the car when you get it right is beyond rewarding.

    Rex, you sounded so excited and enthusiastic! Why wouldn't you be? That looked GOOD on the Track! I haven't Raced on Carpet in a very long time (1993!!!)(I'm OLD). But this makes this almost 60yr old want to give it a go again! 😁😝 Not that I'd have the reaction time or eyesight to Place, but Cars are so much better now. I mentioned before that I'm much better with FWD Cars. I have done pretty well with my very modified M05. You made the RIGHT decision with the M08. From what I've seen, the M06 would have been a huge disappointment. 😞 I had the M06 Lowride Pumpkin (SADLY had to sell it). It was good for donuts, but if I brought it to a Track, that big heavy LUMP, BEHIND the rear Axle would have guaranteed a LAST Place finish!! 😅 🤬 Even with a lightweight Body and Mods, that wasn't one of their best Chassis Cars. Buddy, your M08 looked PLANTED! Yes, Swaybars are a must. My M05 has them, thicker in the rear, so it plows less. These M-Chassis Cars are about the most fun in Racing! I'm surprised they're not more popular. All the best for you and your Family in 2022!! ❄🍻👌👍👍

    The compilation at the end looks my my normal driving, sounds like someone threw a bucket down a flight of stairs! Lovely vid, the M08 seems like a fun car. I have only got to M06 this far, working on collecting the whole M range slowly. :D I have one question, whats with the upsidedown shocks? Unless they are designed to be that way, any air pocket in your shock will have the piston starting from an "in air" position, and worse yet, you add a lot of unsprung weight to the car with the damper cylinders now being unpsrung weight.

    Hi Rex, another great video, i really liked all your other carpet testing segments, Quic question, do you prefer the M08 or the TT01? or they to different to even compare? thanks and keep up the work!

  • @rexrcs

    @rexrcs

    hi, sorry for the late reply, Im still learning how to efficiently use youtube, thats a tough question, they are so different, especially in size, it really depends on your circumstances I think, for example, if I were to pick on to run with friends it would be a tt-02, because more people have it, but if I were to play alone, I'd pick the M08. even after saying that its still hard to truly say, i feel like the M08 is more of a specific chassis, something that most people wont be running off road, where the TT-02 is much more versatile, allowing you be an on road car or a rally car with the ride height changeability. you know....after typing all this I think I might change my answer to TT-02, its more widely common for parts also which is a bonus. again though...tough to say, Id have to hear more of your situation
