Ойын-сауық

The pickerel fight like crazy. That section has a lot of them and a little spinner or jig with red will catch ‘em. Crank baits too
We call those pickerels "Jacks" here. Mepp's golden spinner in bumble bee color used to be killer when we targeted those

You should have let those spot poachers "have it" instead of have it. I am glad to see you still found em. I see my favorite species made an appearance.

That guy was all over. They were struggling to catch anything much so U just moved on figuring we’d pick something up somewhere else. Yea I’m starting to think the pickerel like me almost as much as they like you lol

Nice job you two. Just found your channel and really enjoyed watching your video. Trolling is my go to way when I go fishing for crappie. I have really good luck trolling for crappie. You can cover a lot of water and locate the crappie. Like you said in your video I will always turn around and come back through an area where I catch several crappie at and this has always worked for me. What part of the country are you fishing at? I live in Virginia and have several lakes I love to go fishing at. Again I enjoyed the video and look forward to seeing more fishing adventures. Have a blessed day!

I know trolling is more popular in some states than it is here in Arkansas but it’s an effective way to catch a lot of different species. Appreciate you taking time to watch!
People especially fishermen should be a lot more respectful of the other person crowding is never ok unless they are fishing in a tournament and ask if it is okay and it happens way too often.

Beautiful spotted bass to start out with. Really liking that underspin jig. When I go crappie fishing I troll as well. I rarely cast for them. You and Christy were ripping them up! Lot of nice fish guys👍 That hybrid is pretty cool with that black line on top. Great trip Glen! I might be going Crappie fishing my day off on Thursday. Hopefully I’ll be successful like you guys were.

Nice box of fish!! Interesting tidbits about the black nose, they were first discovered in Beaver lake in NW Arkansas and they are the same species as black crappie, however they cross a male black nose and a white female and create a sterile hybrid, the Magnolia which also has the appearance of the black nose. The magnolia grows much larger and is sterile so they use them to stock small impoundments to prevent over population.
@RaisedOutdoors

Yessir! Most people think the wild hybrid is sterile. They’re cool fish
Really nice spotted bass to start! The pickerel were really testing out your reels. That trolling was getting the crappie in the boat! Great job Kristy and Glen! I figure your eating those crappie so perhaps you can do a catch and cook the next time.
