I’ve always said, if you want to figure out the best fisherman…Take away the electronics, give the all a stripped down flat bottom, one pole and a choice of 5 lures.

People lose sight of the fact that the electronics are merely another tool that they use to locate the fish. No electronic fishfinder has ever landed a fish! The angler has to still catch them. There are plenty of old school tournament anglers out there that spend most of their time sight fishing in shallow water and rarely use their electronics.

They stocked pike in this Lake when it was built. A guy caught a State record out of it….but they didn’t make it in there long

We hate pickerel, terrible to eat and they eat up all the bait fish so we kill them in lakes in stuff
