Crappie Fishing During the Pandemic At The Mendota Wildlife Area

I took the kids out crappie fishing at the Mendota Wildlife Area. It was the only place nearby that would allow boat launches. It took us a while to find the crappie. They were hunkered down in cover and was hard spotting the crappie inside it. Caught a few and released a few that had sores on the side.

They've been stuck in the house for a month now. Good to get them outdoors

Yes sir but check your county. They're planning on delaying fishing in some areas
