Thanks for carburetor adjustment advice. My craftsman 27cc blower was almost impossible to start and had to run on full choke. The repair place wouldn’t even look at because they said they couldn’t get parts and a new carburetor was over $100 to buy. I was ready to pitch it when I found your video. I purchased the adjustment tool for under $10 and did the adjustment according to your video. Runs great now. Thank you, Thank you.

Mine is a mess. I cleaned the carb. New gas line. Idle adjustment screw- and it wouldn’t stay running. Boggs out. Now I know where this setting is I’m going to adjust it and keep my blower out of the landfill!! Thanks.

I have a question. I work on carburetors quite often, but this one has me stumped. Doesn’t matter where I adjust the screw too It typically revs up really high and will die out. Then it won’t start. It will stay idling, but then it dies. I’ve tried every combination of every adjustment and I’ve had enough. Any tips??

starting setting for the 2 screws is 1 full turn out from snug fresh. you needed to turn one closest to the engine counterclockwise just the slightest bit then the Philips screw is idle turn it clockwise till it idles

I tried adjusting a new carburetor but it keeps on turning off on idle/ bogging. So I decided to change the fuel lines and filter. Still does the bogging and turns off on idle . Any other suggestions 🤔

You need to adjust further. Or the muffler is clogged. Or your using old gas. Gas is only good for a 2 stroke for 2 weeks.

@@davidlatino8986 i dont have one in front of me but there should be 2 bolts in the muffler. Probably recessed. Probably torque 25 type heads.

My parents have this leaf blower and asked me to fix it. Unfortunately, it came to me disassembled and I'm running into one problem. There's a black wire coming off the kill switch in the handle with an eyelet on the end. I cannot for the life of me figure out where it should go. Do you have any insight?

It goes on the plastic part of the handle on the metal rod that curves to the outside of the handle I think

@@smallengineguys I couldn't find any metal in the handle, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there at some point before it came to me. I thought it was a ground wire but couldn't find anywhere to ground it! Thank you so much for the reply, I'm subscribed and looking forward to more videos!
